----------------------------------------
Well for a final battle, i excepted shaft to have something more to offer. He sure talked big like he was the top dog, truthfully though i commend him for being a real boxer and knowing what a real boxer is like, unlike all his recruits which were in fact not even real boxers, and only used deception and trickery to win. So it was definitively a very unusual tournament. I still think the first match was my favorite. In fact out of all the characters in the japans Jr league, ishamatsu got the largest beating for sure.

Still black shaft was mostly all talk, Kenzaki could of defeated him blind folded probably given how he destroyed his opponent in a matter of seconds.

I am definitively interesting in this "World tournament" thats going to be probably the final season of the series, considered its the actual world tournament all the nations get to box. I look forward to seeing all the rest of these guys that have been mearly observing them from the very start and has not taken any active tole as of yet. Like Greece and Germany.

So its interesting to see where its going to go from here, unforntantly i can't seem to locate season 3, so i'll have to stop here anyhow. It was an average anime season at best.

6/10

Again, an episode with lots of poorly drawn faces. Not fitting for the final one.

5/5 "You're the greatest" - Shaft

A fun sidestep from the full-on boxing pushing the limits of the sport even further for your biggest amazement, but this transitional part was really stretched out (ex: Monster Jail's episodes, but really most of the encounters). This was a good occasion for the teammates to develop their own "mortal blow" technique
Slightly better made than the first season sometimes, looking worse at other times. The music is still as serviceable as before and the seiyûs are good, it must have been a lot of fun to do Shaft and its compatriots with all their english. Of course, I still have my association problem with Ryûji who I cannot avoid to surimpress Furuya's voice on.

Score: 6.5+/10 And a lack of Kikku doesn't benefit this chapter.

@link9us So you never went through the Shadow Clan "territory invasion" nor the World Jr.Championships? Kenzaki's "dark double" seems very promising

good season even tho I'm not really a fan of any of the antagonists/opponents from this season (the american team)...it helped that I really liked each of the japan team's members!
I have a third testicle that gives me psychic powers
