| In the baseball episode, I hope Koizumi dies. I can't stand such fucked up shipping. It reminds me of the shitstorm that was Nisekoi. There was nothing to cheer about this episode. Even in this episode, Haruhi is a bitch, Mikuru is a frail weakling who can't stand up for herself, Koizumi is a bastard who jokes about world ending events and Nagato is nothing. By the time I am done with this, I will rate it either 5 or 6. 1 if it goes dow this shitty route. |

| This episode made no sense whatsoever, and yet I had so much fun watching it. I am completely and utterly baffled and confused by this series that I am amazed of it. How will I go back to other anime after watching something like this? SpudUK said: OK, ill give it a go of decipering this EP. | [Chronological order] We are half way through season 1. Wow, this episode felt quicker. Damn, I didn't know Nagato could manipulate her soundings like that. I thought she could only manipulate her soundings if she created like a private room or something. Also, I've been really liking the narration. I hope it stays at least till the end of season 1. |

| Easily my favorite episode in the series up tot his point and possibly forever since this set a super high bar. I love how fun this episode was and I love the baseball premise combined with the series. Yuki was really funny this whole game lmao and I smiled for the very large majority of it 5/5 |

Kinda weird how Nagato and Koizumi were fighting off against that cricket, but hey this weirdness isn't something new. |

| (The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya, aka the baseball episode) Quite solid as far as baseball episodes go, it being kyoto animation definitely helps elevate it with their usual fluid animation. Jujutsu Kaisen has my favourite baseball episode, but this one wasn't anything to scoff at either. Honestly this has been my most favoruite haruhi suzumiya episode so far. |

| rewatch- chronological order- ep7 so this is the baseball episode now. and while this is more "calm" than the melancholy arc climax, the references in this episode makes much more sense than in broadcast order. in the end they won but had to forfeit xD truly haruhi ideas for boredom. |

| Kyon's description of the logo... amusing. Also, "Yuki doesn't count, she's part of the furniture" Emiri Kimidori shows up, and Haruhi is so gentle she will accept her request for free. Sweet (not for Kyon). Couldn't remember once again the missing boyfriend was also computer research president from episode 2. Sneaking into his house and using his food? But Mikuru, come on, eat something, Haruhi has done worse to you after all. "FUMOFFU! SECOND RAID!" yeah, if the whole cricket situation wasn't absurd enough on its own, making such explicit references to Full Metal Panic is always entertaining to me, and it triples down considering FMP season 1 and Fumoffu like this show are top 10 personal favorites, Yuki's italian dub voice actress is also Kaname Chidori's, and The Second Raid was aired during the same late 2008 / early 2009 months of the DVD release of this series... too bad TSR was so much worse than the previous two installments. The final quote about Yuki and loneliness unfortunately hit hard. Again. Not that something will ever change. |
