| That was an interesting review. I also thought the music video at the end was a little odd. I figured it was going to be a quick show of the Buu saga, as a sign that there will be no more to Kai, but instead it goes from the afterworld tournament all the way back the beginning of DBZ. Weird~ Anyway even with the "Until we meet again" at the end I highly doubt there will be a continuation to Kai, which I am happy about. More specials or movies would be fun though. |

| Sorry, but extremely disappointed with Dragon Ball Kai... its 2011 and this is what they give me? Instead of making it better they actually make it worse... Everything about Kai is horrible! -- art, new voice actors, acting, disgusting old school soundtrack, new sound effects, and the dialogue. Horrible... Dragon Ball Z any day! Man... |

| I liked Kai, but this special 98th episode was just bad. Bad quality and it didn't even follow Kai's story correctly because when Trunks returns to the future, Kaio-sama is already revived through the dragonballs so why the halo above his head? :') Or am I just ignorant and missing something here? |
| It's great to see this as a special as the way they closed off the Cell arc in the main series was really well done, had this been the last episode it would've been a bit weird. In general still great they included this part as his timeline now has a different outcome together with the altered and way better timeline he created by going in the past! Looking forwards for the second part (season) of Dragonball Kai! |

| This episode was so satisfying... but then Super happened and made all this kind of pointless now. Ugh. I just pretend that the future Trunks arc in Super didn't happen (even though I was initially excited to see him again... only to be dissappointed by the ending. Only good thing in that arc was his interactions with Vegeta.) Or that it was another Future Trunks from another different timeline (since he had blue hair and looked different anyway lol) |

| the episode was great, truly made a finish to mirai trunks part, though to be little rushed and expected, it was great. the part the annoyed me though was goku&kaio, goku just don't feel to have real purpose. and also they kinda constricted the series since kaio supposed to back to life.. |
| Didnt know I'd already seen this after starting Kai a month ago. Shame they just glossed over Other World tournament. Good to see 17 and 18 getting dealt with finally in Trunk's own timeline, hurts seeing 18 like that knowing she can become a good person as we've seen in the previous episodes. |

| It was decent. Just recently found out that Hulu has DBZ Kai added to their service, so I finally got the chance to watch these episodes. Haven't watched DBZ since I was a kid in the early 2000's, though I've read the manga. DBZ Kai's initial season was fantastic from start to finish, though this special episode was pretty mid. It really did feel like they were wanting the series to end after Cell Saga, and I'll admit: it would be a good place. But thankfully they kept on to Super decades later. Overall, I really like Kai, especially since it greatly reduces fillers, and condenses the original series' episodes, but Hulu's subtitles are shit, as they do not match the dubbed voices. Now, guess I'll finally go through the Buu Saga, then Super. Sadly, Hulu only has subbed version of OG Dragon Ball, but still. |
