Here are some frequently asked questions and maybe some not so frequently asked ones. @.@

1) What does Pictorial Culture Miscellany mean? Anything (sometimes random), that has to do with the culture of anime (pictorial = ideas expressed thru pictures) or other media important to its fans.

2) What is this club about? It's a relaxed club where you can discuss just about anything and meet new people. We tend to focus on anime, its fan culture, and Asian (but mostly Japanese) culture.

3) Where do the club relations come from? The anime relations are explained here: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=566919&show=0#post1, but basically deal with fan culture. Character relations are comprised of otaku of some kind that relates to anime. The manga relations are different and are generally accepted as exceptional works recommended by members.

4) Are you people elitists? Definitely not. And, most of us don't like them either. Our members range from people new to anime --- to people who have watched it many years.

5) What is the most important rule of PCM? Be respectful. Hate in any form will not be tolerated here whatsoever. The only other rules we have are: abide by MAL's TOS and don't make a thread that's already in the index.

6) Can I invite my friends? Of course; as long as they're nice! ;D

7) Can I post on old discussions? Yes, please do! There are no dead threads here like in other forums.

8) Can I start my own discussions or polls? Yep. Just make sure it's not already been made. (Check out the index below)

9) Can I comment on archives? Yes. All Archives are also for discussion.

10) When do the features change? Most are every month. The op/ed is changed weekly, and the video is changed in 0 - 3 weeks.

11) When do the seasonal polls get posted? They are posted around the start of the season, and open about 15 days into the season.

12) What happened to all the cards that used to be here? All card threads & badges have been put on hold or are now closed. Badges version 2 will be posted soon. Cards will come back when we have time to make them or someone is hired to do them. Sorry.

13) Why did I receive a Newsletter when I didn't sign up? Because ALL members receive the main newsletters. (8 per yr max) If you don't like it on your page just delete it. It keeps members active.

14) What are the announcements for? These notifications are for letting members know about extra events like contests between newsletter deliveries. You have to sign up to receive these. (Link coming soon.)

15) I have a suggestion for PCM, where do I post it? We already have so many things here, that we don't have a lot of time for others. But, if you still want to suggest something you can PM gINGEr.

16) What kind of affiliates are accepted here? Any, and we encourage all members to affiliate their clubs with ours.

17) Does this club need any help? Not at the moment. When an opening becomes available it will be posted HERE.
