Whenever there is or what's called "drama", it is swiftly ended and no overblown. hate - harems at times, where mc likes only one out of the multiple, and drags everything in the series, girl hits boy she likes "at time", etc |

| I'm not a fan of the cliche settings like beach/pool/amusement park, seen them so many times it's boring now (ofc there are some shows that get it right and make it amusing, Girlfriend Girlfriend springs to mind). Also not a fan of long drawn out misunderstandings, and miscommunications. Detest open endings, where the MC doesn't commit to anyone and it's left purposely vague for the sake of not offending the stans of different girls (looking at you BokuBen), so wimpy. Much better to have an ending like Shuffle, or OreShura, where MC makes a choice, even if it's the wrong one, as in the case of Oregairu, where Hachiman left best girl Yui hanging, what a numpty. Love wholesome moments that make you go squee, ie anything from Kimi ni Todoke with Sawako x Kazehaya. Also love overblown melodramatic moments (usually shoujo does this best), like Andre x Oscar from Rose of Versailles on the riverbank 'he is my husband', or Utena x Anthy, or Godai x Kyouko from Maison Ikkoku, although that one is more like a soap opera. I also enjoy seeing couples together, like the last ep of Aharen S2, top notch ending to a slow burn romcom. |

I think a lot of romance writers don't get there is still plenty of drama that you can develop, even after you get into a relationship. I need more romance anime about newlyweds. Tonikaku Kawaii is a great example of something I dislike. |

| One thing I love about romance anime: I love that it can sometimes be silly and quirky, that two people who are different can sometimes just work. Neither person has to be perfect, but it's all about the journey together. One thing I dislike about romance anime: Unnecessarily harems for the sake of drama. There's clearly a favorite picked out so the other romance interactions are awkward. But there is also harems forced that makes it so the MC doesn't have a clearly defined choice, so every character in it becomes a tease! |

well the ones youve heard still had a personality more than being a doormat, i warn you before checking the other too..they are shell of a person with no personality whatsoever ....BLESS YOUR HEART for if you ever wanna check out !!Ahh, I see. | Love: Actual relationships forming where the characters spend lots of time together, I wish there was more hugging and other contact, i.e one leans on the other, instead of the typical formal BS where they go on these formal dates then at the very end have a very choreographed: Hate: Kissing. I hate the way they kiss in anime. Especially the ones in BL where dominant partner grabs the other and lock their mouths together HATE IT it's creepy Tsunderes are the worst. Goofball shmuck stumbles around skool and red-haired girl abuses and attacks him constantly oh but shes "in love" with him oh fuck off!!! |
