| Big Mom sorta made it to Elbaph, lol. The giant pirates being scared of their moms is understandable, lol. Reminds you how Oda described Luffy's mother in a SBS. Brooks and Gunko's interaction was peak in a different sense than expected. Soul King stood on his business. Still teasing us with Gaban. Thing is, he seems way too OP. No matter how tricky the God Knight's abilities are, with him at our side it feels like the enemies are no real threat. Sommers not wanting smoke with a Yonkou doesn't help either xD Nah fr, it's cool that Luffy is officially regarded as a big shot and even the Gorosei have been sweating at the thought of Yonkou just making contact, so this reaction makes the Tenryubito seem more level headed. |

| @JudgeRuthless 100% agree with the little plot progression. It may not be an issue during a reread, but things feel slow weekly, especially when there are breaks. Gaban was getting ready couple chapters ago and now Oda is teasing us again. After Loki not doing much he better makes up for it big time or this will leave a seriously bad taste. Then again, I can't help but think that Oda has to nerf Gaban because he can't be the one taking care of the villains, unless someone elese pulls up to replace/assists them later. |

| Translation I just read seemed to imply Brook knew Gunko, which is interesting if true and I'd like more info on that. Otherwise a pretty bland and dull chapter. Whenever it is inevitably dragged out even further in an anime episode that one's gonna be rough. |

| I decided to pick up reading again after a long break and... oh boy. Why the hell does the World Government want the giants of Elbaf on their side, if everyone there can be easily defeated by any random character using haki? The "strongest country in the world" was defeated by THREE Holy Knights with their wacky devil fruits, so WHAT THE HELL does the World Government want with this bunch of jobbers? Not to mention that starting the chapter with an off-screen outcome of the fight is a horrible decision, once again Jinbei beign just another fraud. I can already imagine Gaban and Robin holding the knights back until Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Loki arrive to solve the problem. |
