Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 3rd Season Episode 1 Discussion

I was looking forward to S3 but it was not what I expected. Very slow and honestly boring.
After just finishing S2 part 2 with its very long flashbacks and conversations, another 1 hour and 30 minutes of very slow setup is just too much.

@Myetx bro you're one episode in in the season and you're already judging it as if it's the whole thing. It's a new arc, of course there's gotta be some setup first. The sow already did everyone a favor by getting it out of the way in just one episode.

I'm 45 minutes into the new season and I can't stand the dialogue. Every convo between Subaru and Beatrice is cringe asf. I'm alone in the room and put on headphones because of embarrassment that someone might come in and see me watching this bs. It's so corny and all that "loli" talk in there is giving me the creeps. Like the scene with the songstress who looks ~9 years old and the gag with Subaru touching her and her saying "make me a woman" is just... eww. I can't wait for something horrible to happen to Subaru so he can stop running his mouth already.

But fr now, why can't Japanese people make good anime without including some 8yo girl as main cast in it. Or, I mean, it's not even that, just treat children like children. "3-gatsu no lion" has among its main cast 2 children and is a great example of handling these types of characters in an appropriate and wholesome manner.

Sexualizing children should have a studio tank heavily in sales. Not enough people are disgusted by these scenes. I feel like it's become so prevalent in anime it left many people desensitized. Shows like this are normalizing something that should just remain a taboo forever.
