They didn't make money from Attack on Titan, but I doubt that'll be the case for their OP adaptation.

So, do y'all think Wit Studio will be more successful in that regard?

I highly doubt they would have agreed on the One Piece remake, if it wouldn't be financially profitable for them.

If they would be successful in pulling in new OP fans who are scared by the length some how, which the task also had many competitors such as the live- action. The upcoming projects don't look like its goanna be big anytime soon. Just hope they pull out a banger out of the blue like what happened peviously

Why they didn't make profit from Attack on Titan despite being one of the most popular animated TV series ?

Once WIT adapts 3rd season of Ascendence of Bookworm, it will be a strong candidate for AOTS.

Wit's lack of financial success is 110% on the producers, these fuckers have so many popular titles, they should not be loosing money. Someone, somewhere is fucking up. A studio that has worked on hit after hit after hit, should not be losing money.

I have 0 clue what is going on behind the scenes, but it's very obvious.

Netflix keeps on ordering new shows, despite the fact that wit titles that are on netflix are some of their least popular shows. Proving that even their FAR smaller shows are profitable for netflix. So the fact that things like AOT or vinland saga didn't make them one of the most successful studios in modern anime smells extremely fishy.

I think you meant "will production I.G. be more successful in money for the next 5 years?"

Cause yes they are getting there

WIT Studio is still not doing well?

I remember reading a few years back they were in a bit of trouble, but is there newer information? Where can I read about it?

Also, I feel Attack On Titan is a weird show to bring up now in this context. Season 3 finished airing in 2019, and WIT has worked on a bunch of stuff since.

Surely the blood money they got from Kizuna no Allele helped out their finances?
