| Hard to tell if this is the same exact world that guy died in or not, so it might technically be an "isekai" or it might not be. The definition has become loosely understood by most, so at this point, in this day and age, people can have different interpretations of what it means. Which is fine I guess. Seems like a cross between "8th" son, "Bookworm" and some other shows. A bit cartooney, which has pros and cons, but I dont mind it TOO much. But since the MC is so young, bathing with all those busty nubile beauties is a waste, and even if he was older, the mc would probably STILL only care about books lol ffs. Very odd how girlish he is, but he does seem to be the fantasy world royalty equivalent of a "nerdy" bookworm, and hes pampered, so...I dont know what they were going for, because clearly Lloyd can alter his physiology to a degree if he wanted. Oh well, cartooney zany stuff seems in store. :P |
| You know this series had to go through several boards just to get the go ahead for adaptation. And not once did anyone question the character design of 7th prince Lloyd?? Sure ok Lloyd is a reincarnated soul from a commoner that lacked magic but his new life he has a knack for magic and mana. He can easily deconstruct magic spells and is too eager to read. A bookworm of sorts. He ventures down underground and meets an a book called grimoire sealing an evil soul, of course his dense self lets the evil out just tk learn ancient magic. Too bad Lloyd is just too strong lol Episode was alright, the thigh shots is something I'll never get used to especially the proportions... |
| Started watching just for the heck of it, though I don't care much for his character design he might as well be the villain as Grim is actually and starting to fear him out of his sheer magic talent and mana. |

| CGI was bad, but other than that the animation and visuals were quite good imo. The manga had insane art and visuals for the magic battles, so I hope the anime doesn't fall behind too far in that department. So far so good |

| Mc-kun is like the boy from a femboy hentai. Sylpha should be called Mylpha (if you know what I mean). I don't even know... Fan service sprinkles. And there's a fan service for every fan... Maybe we should add ecchi to the genre. Or is it still a bit too short? However, the fight scene with the maid is good. There is some logic in the story, but not too much. The mc-kun, as usual, is an op and it doesn't counter. So is the shota-kun in another world? Or is he not yet a shota? He's not drawn as chibi. |

| Back on my Isekai kick, and I know this one is getting a Season 2 this summer (not like I need to add another sequel on that list lol), but uh… that’s a shota with child bearing hips and doughy thighs on my screen isn’t it, that is certainly the sentence that I’ve typed of all time lol. But yeah it’s clear they absolutely know what they’re doing, there’s no beating around the bush here, there was never even a bush in the first place lol, what you see is what you get, and even if it’s gonna filter a lot of people, I kinda have to respect it, the show is shameless and I like when anime are shameless. And it’s not just Lloyd either, the babes of this show are looking quite tasteful too, I’m a fan of Sylpha already for sure lol, so it’s safe to say this has a little something for everyone. And there’s also the fact this looks great and is well animated, and it’s this studio’s second ever full length show too, it feels kinda weird honestly to be watching an Isekai that’s actually animated after the last two I watched lol, so I greatly welcome it. And I gotta say, Lloyd is proving to be a very fun MC so far no matter how you feel about his design, I’m loving his extreme obsession with magic contrasted with his goofiness, he made quite the wild expressions when facing down Grimoire too (who is now his adorable familiar), they definitely got me interested in getting more of what Lloyd’s about. And I really liked the OP and ED too, Kaede Higuchi is one I’m not familiar with but her OP was great, but Akane Kumada is a classic to me now so it’s nice to hear her again, the visuals of the girls were really cute too. With that, I guess I’m strapping in for this one, I regret missing it back in Spring 2024 but it’s as I always say, I can’t watch everything lol. |

What is wrong with the animators, why do they keep panning up and down a child's legs like that??? someone please tell me the Mc ages up quickly or ill have to drop this show.
| @DexterLivingston yeah I noticed and was grossed out by that too. Half the show was just focusing on his legs. Not only did they give him the hips and thighs of a grown woman, he’s a little boy wearing what can hardly be called pants. Definitely sicko fetishists with this one. I put this one off and decided “surely it’s not as bad as the cover makes it seem.” Oh but it’s far worse. |
