| I'm not really aiming for a specific number. I'm always amazed once I reach certain milestones though. Like I'll be at 200 days watched eventually, which is kinda interesting. Not really a goal though, just an observation. Oh. And since I'm kinda superstitious, it'd be nice to get to 14,000 episodes eventually instead of always seeing 12 + 1,000, but it's not really a goal. I did used to want to try to watch more anime than a certain guy in a guild I'm in. He was annoyingly elitist and was rude to anyone who watched less anime than him. Like, grow up. He saw that I had more completed anime than him and was like, "No..." but then he realized he had a higher episode count than me and a longer days watched count and was went right back to being... him. I wanted to casually pass him just to get him to shut up, but he watched a bunch of long runners that I don't have the patience for because in the end I watch anime to experience many different worlds not just a few big ones. I gave up on that quick. |

I mean I'm gonna be watching anime forever so it's like I'm gonna stop at a point lol. But Hitting 1000 anime would be a nice milestone to reach within a year from now. My list is also actually real completed anime/movies. I don't watch shorts/weird anime that are like 2-5 minutes long to bloat up my numbers like 90% of people here on MAL, who have more than a 1k completed.  |

@FudiFudi I'm just curious what's everyone's watch count, since according to the way my life is going which is nothing but watching anime I just wanna know how far behind I am in the game. Competitions are fun too.

| not aiming for anything that'd be as dumb as a new yr resolution to "read 50 books this year" rather than watching 500 anime, i wanna be able to watch one anime and enjoy it to the fullest, before even thinking of moving to the next one |

| I do yearly goals, not overall goals. My yearly goal for this year is to complete 120 anime this year (basically 10 a month. And I've finished 20 so far this year so I'm on track). |

| man, i remember back in 2012 thinking people who'd seen 300 anime were on some next level shit.... cause to be fair, idk if ANYONE on here had hit 1000 yet and iirc, when i first joined MAL i had about 120-150ish? but then again, i barely talked to anyone outside the people i already knew elsewhere, so idk who the top watchers were then now i see 300 completions and i'm like well OVAs and ONAs DO count, if theyre stand alone series lol specials (which include MVs) dont really count lol |
