Well... Hakkai has finally woken up. And we learn that he was lying about his situation. It was actually YUZUHA who was doing the protecting. The part about Taiju breaking his word though was honest.

Takemichi is still fighting, and now Hakkai has woken up and started fighting himself. He's no longer being the hesitant BITCH he was previously. From what I can tell, I think that Chifuyu twisted his ankle. I was playing one on one basketball against someone and fell in a similar way, so that's how I know (assuming that I'm right).

The future has definitely changed because one, Yuzuha didn't kill Taiju and two, Hakkai is no longer fixated on killing Taiju and three, Hakkai is actually fighting against Taiju

And now... Mikey has shown up. Why is he here?

Well I'm about to watch Episode 9 and find all of this out and more!

Some people might see Takemichi as weak, but in reality he is probably one of the strongest characters in the show. Obviously not in terms of raw strength or fighting ability that's true, but in terms of strength of will and determination Takemichi is without a doubt the strongest...
Takemichi has the whole weight of the future to carry alone on his shoulders, and in order to change the people he cares about from dying or turning evil he travels back into the past time and time again... Takemichi is the true hero this anime deserves...
Watching Takemichi bring Taiju to his knees was such a badass moment and showcases one of many Shounen MC's greatest qualities the ability to never give up and inspire others around you...

Takemitchi's superpower: tiring his enemies out. I was gonna say that's ridiculous had I not known that's a legit strategy in mma and boxing though one would usually block or evade attacks and not receive them head on lol the referee would've stopped the fight long time ago were it the case

i like how takemichi landed a punch and made him kneel. but how come other punches can't do the same from hakkai when he landed a few.
also hakkai was a fraud. but looks like he's owning up now and changing. he stepped out of the shell.

this the first ep i truly LIKED takemitchy and the second episode i truly like so far.
i truly felt BETRAYED when hakkai admitted that who was taking the beatings twice was yuzuha, and the first time that i was close to tearing up in this anime was when yuzuha was doing her best (and did an amazing job) to protect her brother.
takemitchy saying that hakkai sucks but even himself sucks was refreshing actually + mitsuya saying that he ran from his responsabilities too was good.
i also enjoyed the build up, hakkai didnt start fighting his brother right when he was told, it took him like 3 eps to do so and i adored it
