Mahiro accepts becoming a tool with little restraint because he wants to run away from his role as a big brother as he always felt like he was a shade of his little sister, Mihari wants to completely change her brother into something she wants, doing that by drugging him and even by telling lies, the fact this anime is supposed to be wholesome but has this kind of interaction is nauseating for me. When I started to watch this, I did it due what I heard about it, that it's wholesome, that it's a cute brother sister anime with some ecchi, but what I received is an anime where a sister gaslights her own brother to become the image she wants, and the brother that always felt like a shade giving up on his role because he thinks its impossible to be of help of his sister other than being the tool for research he is now. He might become happier eventually, but it is really him at this point? The drug is even changing his mind to be of a girl, she is literally erasing her brother in the process while the anime brushes it all of as a cute and wholesome comedy. With these facts I really don't know if I can ignore such nauseating and disturbing fact to try to enjoy the anime as a wholesome comedy, I will always have this in my head while watching, that what Mahiro is becoming is nothing but what his sister is controlling him to become, and that Mahiro is submissive because he has an inferiority complex that will lose its chance to be solved. Mahiro was wasting his life and understands it, and Mihari's actions, even if unethical, were both well-meaning and made him much happier. |

real fun :D the brothers voice is a bit annoying but most likely will get over it in like an ep or two. the ost (other than op) is either unnoticeable or bad (the "this is your outfit for today" scene song felt so out of place and generic). ive only heard bad things about this series and while i didnt see anything to complain about there are already people in the first episodes comments complaining? im too lazy to go through 7 pages of discussion so if anyone sees this id appreciate an explanation on what is supposedly wrong here  |

| Okay episode overall. But the implication that rehabilitating male hikikomori leads through a change of gender is a dangerous one. If that is the message. IF. In a way, this anime would have the opposite message to Yofukashi no Uta, which provided a better solution to (emotional) isolation. One that did not involve (require) a total conversion of the physical. By the way, the excuse that "it's not a serious story" doesn't mean anything. If you say something, you say it. You can insult someone and not mean it seriously, but it's not up to you to decide how the receiver interprets your message. This anime, no matter how serious, makes a certain statement, and it can be judged based on it. |

| Alr i'm restarting from the beginning because i still can't believe i'm skipping this xd. Big Brother Rehabilitation Project, seems ambitious. But judging by her cv, i'm wondering if theres a more decent big brother at the end of the day, or just let the big brother gone forever like what the title said, and change it with loli. Hell yeah, sounds the better idea right? No wonder this got the high rating despite the initial degenerative ground-breaking, or so that's what i thought. All in all, lemme binge this for a research purpose... |
