Liking it so far. Definitely a more relaxed, innocent vibe. I can see myself enjoying this as a casual watch as long as they don't start adding fan-service. I prefer the idea of him meeting a bunch of rare species and befriending them rather than the whole harem trope, that would just be plain beastiality lol

Can't say I will keep watch. Don't see it higher than a 5/10 but it's not bad. I would definately watch if I weren't already watching a lot of animes right now. My one complaint is that why would Kanede let a person she just met, tame her. It's like saying you meet a guy at taco bell and let him enslave you. It makes no sense

I'm bit confused why he couldn't tame the tiger as I personally would see it more as a beast rather than a monster.

Pretty generic so far, our protagonist is a typical nice guy with a special talent. I mostly wonder why Kanade wanted to be tamed though, what advantage does she get from that?

OK, so the series starts with the MC talking about how he thought he was useful and respected, and yet at 5:30 we get a series of flashbacks where they do nothing but belittle and insult him. Then he says he somehow thought they treated him like trash for his own sake? Is the MC an idiot?

Also, It's hard to understand why he would be seen as useless for attack/defense when he can tame bears (not to mention there are far more powerful beasts that we encounter and he SHOULD tame, but doesn't despite apparently being a super-tamer). Seems more like he just sucks at properly taking advantage of his abilities.

Aaaaand just minutes later he takes on a kill quest without taming a combat pet, instead fighting alone with a dagger despite being a pet class. We've seen him tame packs of wolves and bears, either of which would have made the quest trivial. Yep, he definitely just sucks at his class.

1 minute later, while facing a tiger, he bemoans that there are no beasts to tame. Dude, tame the beast right in front of you. It would make an awesome pet. This is painful to watch, to the point where I'm actually starting to agree with the hero that the MC is dead weight, and it's entirely his own fault for not using his ability more intelligently.

Later, they provide no reasonable explanation for why Kanade would want to be tamed or, frankly, what benefit either of them gets from this, since she apparently already likes the MC and wants to travel with him. There appears minimal difference, if any, between taming her and her just becoming a normal companion. In fact, if the rest of the show is going to focus on "taming" humanoid characters (which appears to be the case from the synopsis) who would otherwise travel with him anyway (I mean, the alternative is that it's slavery, so...), then there's no functional reason for him to actually be a beast tamer at all.

How many of these are there XD?! they all have essentially the same plot. They never take it well though like "pff okay bye assholes" it's always like "imma just stand here and take it" at least the asshole party tends to get screwed because they end up being wrong about their support class not contributing anything. But still, heck wonder if he even ever got paid. Heck even Red Mage guy got to keep all the gear he had. So suggesting that he somehow didn't pay for it himself or deserve it in some way is insane.
Oh well guess we'll see where this goes but it's already not great and it's pretty weird btw that he's "beast tamer" and all his future harem are cat girls and shit, like are you telling me that his powers work like that, cuz that's kind of messed up, sounds more like a villain origin story. Even the party composition is neigh identical "mage girl, priest girl, big dude, asshole deluxe.
"ultimate species" that shit sounds hella racist. Did bro really just say "the rarest of them... is a cat girl" lmao.
16:50 I knew it... that's crazy, that's actually messed up.
I'm just not sure who abducted who, considering she can literally crush his skill with ease.
