| You know what? It sucks ass balls when you are going into an anime thinking you are getting something and it decides to give you something totally diferent, especially when it isn't even early on. So I made this post to discuss every anime that made you feel like a soon to be dead fish, me first. Also, I know that a bait and switch is not always bad, I actually loved some shows that sucefully baited me (As Deca-Dence and Gakkougurashi!) but this is not about them (unless you disliked it, them I want you to share you'r opnion about it), and more about shows taht didn't manage to pull it, our baited you in another way. |

| Boruto with its first 5 mins of pure awesomeness followed by 160 episodes of filler.BTW Don't call them filler because the mangaka acknowledges them as canon material.It is the biggest disappointment of life.I don't even care at this point even if Kawaki straight up kills Naruto. |

| Urusei Yatsura must be the worst. I had to drop it after episode 21 because it turns into an entirely different style of comedy at that point. The Beautiful Dreamer movie wouldn't even be recognizable as Urusei Yatsura if you changed the names and faces. Oh yeah, Osomatsu had an outrageous 1st episode. |

I guess it's a bit spoilery though it's the first arc, so proceed with (a little) caution: The series is about different sorts of syndromes related to sci-fi/fantasy with other characters, but it takes its title from this first arc and moment. It's kind of an introductory title instead of a descriptive one. |

| that's what happened with me and deca dance this season. it changed into some weird gamer thing and i hate it. the whole art style changed and so did the story and it was NOTHING like the great 1st episode. gakkou gurashi had a BRILLIANT bait and it had multiple and kept on going. incredibly well written. the 1st season of showa genroku rakugo . it was basically a flashback arc and at first i was like wait no i dont want this i was loving the 1st episode and then it ended up being amazing and it went perfectly into the next season. god of highschool: different human fighting styles and then giant stands and magical fruit does eva count?? giant mechas and then you get bombarded with emotional instability |
| Zombie Land Saga was kind of a bait because if I remember correctly the first trailer and pictures made it look like an horror anime. It was nothing like that but I loved it and can't wait for season 2 now. :) |

| I don't understand this thread, you first say that sometimes you think an anime is gonna be something but it's not, and that this is bad, but not really since some anime were good even though they did that, but not really maybe it's just you and some other people didn't like it, and in the middle of this confusion, you complain about a specific anime whose flaws don't really have much to do about what you're complaining about so what the hell is your point? that it sucks when you watch an anime you thought you'd like but it turns out you don't? yea, indeed, it does |
