| This episode was annoying. Why did Sakuta have to agree with the false dating? I used to like Koga's character but now I kind of hate her. She should realise that what other people think about her doesn't fucking matter. I'm just hoping that this misunderstanding is wrapped up quickly and that Koga's character develops a bit. |

| yeah sure, just take hachikuji's snail loop storybeat from monogatari, remove all the creativity and fun from it, turn it into the most basic, soulless time loop story arc even imagined and hope no one notices. this even has the exact same story arc progression as monogatari did, from the snappy traumatized weightless love interest character arc to the looping loli character arc. the absolute nerve of this series, god. |

I think that's where the show's strengths come from, it leans into overused tropes and combines them in a way that it will be very engaging. This is why it has achieved the popularity it did. It's basically a rip off of every popular romance anime you can think of ye i finished it up yesterday such a fulfilling show, goes against all tropes and i love the fact that sexual jokes aren’t met with the usual “baka” yandare reaction. |

| Absolutely love Mai. The relationship between Mai and Sakuta is such a refreshing take on relationships!!! No needless dramas and misunderstandings. She goes directly to him for an explanation!! WOW. Aww I also think it was really adorable and surprising that glasses-chan (can't remember her name) has a crush on Kunimi. Lowkey rooting for her |

| good story, there's up and downm but i think i might understand a bit this "Syndrome" thing... previous adolescence syndrome anime movie was related with "coma/ past/future", so i might think this can be relateable. |

| I had a laugh when Sakuta thought it would loop the 4th time, it went on to Saturday. Also good to find out a context where 日本 is pronounced as Nippon, i. e. Japan as a sports team. Tomoe resembles that girl from Rent a GF, but at least she's okay here. |

| Sakuta handled getting stuck in a time loop pretty well. What a tragic start to it with this whole situation derailing and resetting his relationship progress with Mai. I hope he pushes Tomoe to break the atmosphere herself and bite the bullet by explaining away this love triangle she's in. |

| A bit deep into the depths of Japanese teenage angst for me. Too much whining, not enough Bunny Girl but it is nice to see that Mai got some work. Is an elementary school age kid allowed to live alone and skip school in Japan? |

| It’s Tomoe Koga’s time for the spotlight, and I mentioned this in my previous post but I’ll say it again, she was my best girl on my first watch of this back in 2019 and I remember liking her arc the most too, we shall see if that ends up happening again this time 6 years later. As of rn I’m loving her all over again, her moments with Sakuta are a lot of fun and I don’t think I even have to mention that she’s cute lol, and she’s also one of those characters I first think of when I hear Nao Touyama. Also, if you ask me, it’s not a problem at all that Tomoe only gains weight in her belly and butt, I can only see this meaning good things lol, also more butt jokes. But this situation she’s in is quite the tricky one, first we get the looping June 27th which makes me think of that meme from Back to the Future that goes like “hey I’ve seen this one, it’s a classic”, and then the problem seemed to be solved once Tomoe avoided being asked out by that chud, I think it’s safe to say this isn’t over yet lol, also the comparison to Laplace’s Demon is pretty cool too, although a bit of a stretch at the same time. And I’m glad our boy is helping Tomoe out but it’s just unfortunate that this kinda hurt things with Mai, that moment where he was relieved that he could just redo things with her in the next loop only for it to smash-cut to the day to actually continuing was great lol, thankfully the episode ended in a place where he might get to explain what’s going on to her. And with the start of Tomoe’s arc we get a new variation of the ED with Tomoe, I always really liked that about this show, it helps gives each arc a unique feel despite the song being the same. |
| Apparently Rascal also dreams of Endless Eight-ing Kouhais. Not too hot about agreeing to date another girl from another year right after watching the lengths Sakuta went through just for Mai but watching him navigate through this one should be fun. And Futaba's little crush is adorable. |
