I don't really know what to think about this... So I guess more welfare and support services for "adolescents" in their 20's... I'm trying to think of how this might have negative effects, but aside from more wasted tax-payer dollars taking care of full-grown adults in their 20's it seems like generally a good thing.

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."
-Friedrich Nietzsche

" according to BBC"

All the legitimate facts are ending here, hence there is no need for more discussion.

Scientifically, the brain doesn't stop growing until age 24, is why.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
Do you think the BBC makes stupid content?
Are you saying BBC reports false information?

Please be more explicit.

Makes sense. Considering how the brain grows.
"among monsters and humans, there are only two types.
Those who undergo suffering and spread it to others. And those who undergo suffering and avoid giving it to others." -Alice
“Beauty is no quality in things themselves: It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them; and each mind perceives a different beauty.” David Hume
“Evil is created when someone gives up on someone else. It appears when everyone gives up on someone as a lost cause and removes their path to salvation. Once they are cut off from everyone else, they become evil.” -Othinus

This is old news. It's kind of true, but I think it's just because of our social construct and how our parents raised us. It is maybe true biologically but wisdom and responsibility could start to bloom at an earlier age than 24. If your father is Atticus Finch and your name is Jean-Louise or Jeremy then you're way ahead of your age. Although, I believe that the process of becoming an adult is a process that shouldn't be forced and unique in each individual. So, there's no need to think about it. It's just human being adapting or settling in the period their currently in. There's absolutely no need for a change of policy. A change of policy will result in a change of our behavior as well. The current one is already good enough. The current one provides us with the basic knowledge and sweet/revolting memories from schools. After that, it's your own journey without burdening your parents, well at least try not to. Voila. This is the end of my essay. Thank you very much and sorry LOL. It's almost the end of my working hour and I'm just bored. Peace out and God bless you all if you believe in one.

I don't really see any point to this. It differs by individual and has to do with culture and environment. It's a pretty arbitrary category. It depends on their neuroplasticity and amount of novel experiences. If they made seporate age ranges by sex for females it would be 20 and males at 30 from what I've seen in other studies if I recall the exact numbers right. When you ad them together you get around that middle number.

The BBC is too hateful at times, they go into alt-right level racism except against whites.

Well, the brain doesn’t stop developing until age 25, and some adults never outgrow being childish.
That doesn’t mean we should give welfare to the people who aren’t adolescents anymore tho

I'm 27 and I'm still the edgy metalhead I was in high school.
I'll never change! I don't want to so I refuse to, fuck what anyone else thinks!

Less than a century ago it was common for 19 year olds to have children and buy houses and now you can't even afford them if you're 40.

Here's a recent and blatant case of racism by the BBC.

Wow I didn't know about this, I always thought the BBC was a fair, reliable institution but maybe not?

It's not even the first time they've done this. Unless this is just someone re-reporting the same incident and changing a few details to make it seem new, the same thing happened in 2016. Either there are racists or idiots in the BBC, I don't know which is worse.

The BBC has a history with these racist hiring practices and they just don't learn after being called out for it.

So now 19 year old Americans can call 24 year-old Britanians kids and it would be right, but the Britanians can't call the Americans kids because they'd be wrong even though they're older.

Online trolling just got funner for edgy teens everywhere.

Dunno about welfare, but what I do know is that people shouldn't have voting rights until they're 30.
Stuff like driving cars, alcohol, sex is okay tho.
