Next week is hiatus. and following with 1 hours special satoshi and pikachu stranded on unhabitated island and against nyabi to celebrate something anniversary.

I will never get tired of seeing Ash taking massive risks in order to protect Pikachu or any other Pokemon like he did when jumping to the cliff, it's such a lovable scene where he shows how much he cares for them.

Calling Ash a loser is kinda funny since he fought well against a legendary Pokemon.

I wouldn't plainly call Ash a loser for this battle, he did better than the last time he fought Tapu Koko. In fact, Tapu Koko had trouble tanking the Z-move lol

Yeah, Pikachu defeated Regice and Latios (the latter with more difficult) but Tapu Koko is much stronger than those two because of its relevance in the anime (it's a deity). Pikachu is still adding a good experience (counting Metagross and Tyranitar) xD

Now the worst thing the writers can do is that after this battle, Pikachu loses to a pre-evolved Pokemon

Plus we're just at the beginning of a new saga. Ash battling a deity and doing decent damage to it is quite impressive and never happened before at that point in the story. I can't wait to discover why Tapu Koko is constantly testing Ash. For the UB maybe?

I don't think Pikachu as ever been shown to be this strong at the beginning of other sagas, even during XY. Ash has a pretty impressive track record here, considering the characters don't seem to battle that much in Alola, yet he managed to completely destroy Hala's Hariyama and did well against Tapu Koko.

Too bad Rockruff's battle was so short even though it seemingly won fairly easily.

The weakest episode in a while imo. By no means bad, but it just wasn't as funny, interesting or intense as the previous ones. We were on an AMAZING streak though imo so that's ok.

Also kinda bummed I had to give in and watch it raw, but I understood like 95% anyway. Maamane's explanation about his research with electric types and electric terrain was a bit too hard.

The return of Kapu-Kokeko Interesting how he shows specific interest in Pikachu, presumably because of the electric connect and Pikachu's special bond with Ash. But he's kind of like Team Rocket, stalking Ash and Pikachu haha.

Interesting battle, nice to see some action! I guess Kapu Kokeko will appear periodically for battles throughout this series until the end? Or until Ash leaves this island...?

Hmm tbh i was hoping ash would win so the rest of the tapus will appear :) oh well guess he will reappear from time to time.

Anyways nice episode with some action.

And daaaamn do i love that vulpix so fluffy and cute, got myself a plush of it <3
