Hmm less than hour for the first movie.

I think it was alright with the girls Washio, Nogi, and Minowa carrying their duty as heroes to fight against the Vertex. There's decent amount of action while the setting shifts between the real world and that other world.

Quality wise, it's decent with even a bit of fan service (hello baths).
The soundtrack impressed me the most especially in the more climatic battle near the end of the movie. Not bad overall. I'm not overwhelmed by definitely entertained me.

Great for the fans, I think.

It expands the world of the series, giving a new perspective on some things. I liked the battles, especially the fact that some enemies who never had the time to shine finally got the chance to display their powers.

Furthermore, it was a good adaptation, not only it touched all that the Light Novel offered, but it also added new things.

Hi I almost never post in the forums lol.

I watched a Chinese subbed rip of the Bluray. It was pretty much just the first two episodes (of the scheduled TV broadcast that will be premiering in October) though it felt like Kara no Kyoukai's first movie pacing wise (roughly the same length IIRC) so that's good enough for me. Fucking gorgeous too, and the OST is UNFFFF because Keiichi Okabe/MONACA just never ever disappoint.

Not gonna give it my final judgement until I see the English version but yeah that was amazing, as expected of course.

Holy shit those transformations though, a bit lewd but absolutely gorgeous and perfectly fitting for the girls. Sonoko's is the BEST. You can watch them here: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5f8yod_yuuki-yuuna-wa-yuusha-de-aru-washio-sumi-no-shou-henshin-scenes_tv

It kinda felt like they moved around/altered some events from the novel chapters but they were good changes IMO? And I had seriously forgotten how banged up they got in their early fights, FUCK. That was brutal.

Also Gin is hilarious, God I love her. And Wasshi and Sonocchi were perfect as always so not much to say there.

I'll definitely write a more articulate review when I see a rip with English subs, but yeah I fucking loved it. Can't wait until April for Part 2 (and MOAR SUFFERING). Now to watch the 4koma.

Very good and fun. Solid adaptation of the first 3 chapters of the LN. Gin is freaking amazing. Anime-onlies are not prepared for the 2nd movie :'(
The OST is on-point like with S1, I love the new Track for the transformation scene.
Obviously, I didn't understand all the conversations since there were no subs, but I think they slightly changed a few things around; can't say yet if it was for the better or not.

On a side note, it's crazy how with just 2 years behind on Hero technology, the girls of WaSuYu had so much more trouble fighting the Vertexes than the girls of YuYuYu. They got much more beaten and hurt.

btw BD sales had to restock

I'm not surprised. Yuuki Yuuna was super popular when it came out. It sold over 10k units for the first 2 weeks It even outsold Taizai, Amagi and both Gundam shows that aired the same season.

How long is the movie? I imagine that it will be 50 min per movie and then just reair that as the 6 episodes long TV series announced for Fall 2017.

Anyways, I really hope someone subs it, I already read Washio Sumi when I finished Yuuki Yuuna and I would love to see it animated.

That was fantastic. The quality was top tier too, bless you Gokumi.

This is a very good adaptation of the LN with obvious added scenes because of the short length of the source.

There is just so much I wanna say about the extra added details to the bridge and the flower ceremony... It really pays off to read WaSuYu before watching this.

Also that next episode preview...I am not ready for what is coming.

Just finished it, this was actually a pretty great adaptation for the prequel series... from the OST towards the animation, towards the character interactions and how they executed the scenarios were just top notch for me.

There's a lot to say about this movie, but I'll just go and say in short that they nailed pretty much everything that I really liked about the series, and YuYuYu generally speaking. Now to wait for the 2nd part of this, UUUGH I want more.

I thought it was really good.

I liked how the girls accepted the responsibility from the get go and always worked hard to defeat the vertex.

I liked their training and bonding they did in those exercises.

They got a long way to go but I was very happy with the progress they have made so far.

Damn, so glad to see this back, considering I absolutely loved Yuuki Yuuna! Gotta say that the first movie was pretty nice. Great mix between the action and the girls bonding together. OST is still as great as ever too.

Can't wait for the second chapter! I'm prepared for the feels....

Really nice movie! As someone that read the Washio Sumi light novel I think that they did a great job so far, seeing the fights animated is always a blessing. Looking forward for the second!

Great adaptation x_x, though the build-up and bonding between the girls have made me even more unprepared for stuff later. My heart isn't ready

Nogi, Washio and Gin were 10x more adorable than I remember, especially Nogi with her transformation and chicken pajamas

The girls hard a hard time to adapt to the battles and to lean team work, Gin is very aggressive and I can say that they won thanks to her.
Sonoko is so cute! And it's so nice to see this "version" of Tougou.

I think this highly entertained me and I love the girls outfits, I think they look cool and they themselves too. I liked the action and how the became friend after being chosen by shinju-sama to be heroes, but they fairly young though for that big role. I really enjoyed even if it was short.

So 8/10.

This was a great short movie. Even though I did read the LN and watched the TV series, It was still a great thing to watch since I'm a fan of the whole series.

Loved the use of the OST and the animation. The girl's transformation scene was great to watch. 9/10.
