Arslan is lenient how could he only sentence shagad to one year experience to being a slave. Thats what i hate about him but i wonder will he send troops to Ecbatana and help his rival, king innocentis.

Arslan has great qualities to lead a country, great enough for his king dad to kick him out at first reckoning.

Excellent punishment! But as always... cheesy Narsus wins the day and exposition settings overload.

Ah, brillant historical nod to monarchy helping each other for political reasons. No doubt Arslan will help that useless king to end war in Pars.

That's probably the harshest punishment Arslan has done. He is learning. If only sentence was longer.

Yep, it was obvious from the get go that Shagard was going to backstab them. The moment they showed that sleazeball, I hated him already. He wasn't happy with Arslan's idea of freeing slaves and indulged in opulence. Don't put chili in his mouth, put it in his ass.

The camera panning around the ships and then showing Narsus' party versus his friend's party made it seem very Fire Emblem'y.

I did not expect Zot clan to still have so many members. But then the numbers are always exaggerated in this show so..

Shagado is stupid. No one can best the all-knowing and all-seeing Narsus lol

It may not be so important, but official info says Zot consists of about 1000 people.

It's getting a bit tiring that Narsus always knows what the enemy is planning. Also odd that the Zot clan is just going to change from bandits robbing people to a legit group just like that.

Then it is true, most things have happened in this mini series that last season, maybe show a little more without shorten the story, it would be useful, after all, to program a season with 13 episodes, it was plausible, oh well! Entirely predictable, but the long wait in the moments before the battle, however, gave a touch of suspense, which never hurts. I imagined that Arslan, conquered the coastal town, would go far and wide in search of wealth and political support instead must return to save the enemy, ironically. Engaging the clash between Narsus and Shagad.

LMAO at the old pirate dude getting scared of Narsus then getting slashed like the irrelevant character he is.

What is an old friend but "old"? Some friendships never last.

Shagad's punishment. Irony.

Etoile is so pretty, but that plea for help was funny.
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).

Narsus outwitted Shagad. Their rivalry is quite personal. Loved their clash and conversation.

Shagad's punishment. That was a wise chose by Arslan in my opinion. Quite fitting. Hope he learns his errors.

Etoile asking to save her king. Really?? Will Arslan do it???

Shagard was so close to killing Narsus for good, it was so damn close T_T Hope the fucking hawk dies horribly.

The outcome of the battle didn't surprised me AT ALL. It was so painfully obvious Narsus would have predicted everything I even laughed a bit when he appeared with the Zot clan. And, again, any of Arslan party has been killed when they even confront alone entire groups of enemies, let alone being even injured. Oh, I forgot, they have a plot armor bigger than the whale from Re: Zero -_-

You know a series is doing something wrong when you were rooting all the time for the greedy dude who wanted slavery rather than the good guy who want good things, but it's so painfully OP and idealistic it makes you sick (not that I agree with Shagard's vision, it's just I wanted to see Narsus dead). Well, at least Shagard put one hell of a fight before being defeated (I was surprised they didn't kill him).

I'm not sure if I want a third season of this shit if we will have the same scheme in the battles again and again. For me the ending could be a rushed trainwreck and end this already. But, well, it's my fault for expecting anything of this.

Yeah, you'd have to be an idiot like Elam if you haven't figured out Shagad was the bad guy all along. It would be more atrocious if someone like Narsus can't figure it out. Out of all the plot convenience that you could point out you chose the one that's most likely to occur *facepalm*

And also you can rest easy because
did the manga get to the point of this spoiler?

Not yet. That incident happened around vol 10 or 11 of LN so it's still very, very far away. The manga's stuck at vol 6 because the author has been on hiatus for almost 2 years taking care of her sick family member (her other manga like Gin no Saji is on hiatus too).

how could etoile audaciously demand such thing from arslan? i mean looking back at the past, what her nation did to pars...

but of course arslan would agreed to assist as best as he can.

ugh, just how ridiculous it is if etoile/estelle later become arslan's consort???
