Because if they didn't use a remote the writers would of had to find a different way to get everyone to leave.
I saw this episode coming from a mile away. Sometimes your best friend is your biggest rival. Sort of like Rei and Usagi from Sailor Moon.
Class Rep had some interesting facial expressions in this episode, in general it seemed like the animation might've been a little better than normal.
We're over halfway through this and I really don't have a preference for any of the characters, and I certainly don't support any of the ships. At this point I feel like Asuna should just be Negi's partner by default. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Did Class Rep's brother die? Shit got dark there at the end.
"...Is your mother worried? Would you like us to assign someone to worry your mother?"
So this has been defo the better episode in while, not only we got a pool episode which is what you would expect from an ecchi anime, since this show has been pretty lacking in that department, but also we got character development and backstory for Asuna and Ayaka, the later one hits specially hard for me since I also had a brother that was born dead, of course this hit my mother way harder than it ever did with me.
