| Okay, but this enemy's boobs are HANDS. How genius is this? The 70's, man, the 70's. Since I'm here, I did want to say this show is a really fun ride. The OP is one I'm familiar with from the newer installments but only because folks posted them in anime music playlists on the now dead imeem (I only listened to a newer version of the song is what I mean). I, uh, also roleplayed as a character who was lowkey based off of an adult bookstore/was an adult bookstore gijinka (Haga/Haga Shoten), got curious, checked out their online site, and found some... interesting star introduction videos of their AV stars or the AV Stars of a company they were affiliated with in which a newer version of the Cutey Honey's theme song played in the background. I never actually watched any of the new Cutey Honey installments though, but because the theme was so catchy, I kinda lowkey wanted to watch. Now that Cutey Honey Universe is coming, I thought I should probably watch the original at least. 70's had some nice music... in which the actual skill level of music making usually kinda went downhill from there-- not that the songs couldn't be enjoyable, so I shouldn't be surprised that the original theme song is still reeeeally good, but admittedly, I was pretty surprised. Back on that 70's music thing though, like just to be honest, even 70's anime music has more style than many of the 80's anime music I've heard so far. 80's music has so much syth abuse; like no one knew how to play it. Anyway, even the ending is nice. Rambling. But yeah, I think the odd fanservice in Cutey Honey gives Cutey Honey some charm because it knows exactly what it is and is trying to be, in my opinion. It has guts. Characters could use a little work so far, but it's fine for now. |

| I'm liking this show but I wish it was about someone I was actually attracted to. I mean I do have a show with an mc I think is hot but I want one like this. |
