| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, that was weird, at least for Makoto anyways. Those memories ....just brings a strange realization to her huh? Not as exciting in terms of action as some of the previous episodes imo. Good to know she is taking charge of what she's doing though. |

| Why is this so good!? I mean I know GitS is a good series, but this feels like something else; an Alternative so to speak... I see what they did there! I don't think it deserves a 10 score; but there's multiple reasons for that; graphics, effects, flow, and more. I'd say this is one of the good anime that deserves a 10, but when you remove the enjoyment of the whole thing, it drops to a Very Good. I feel that the previous GitS had better graphics and effects regardless of being released years ago when our technology was crappier. |

| Is it just me? I'm finding this series really confusing and difficult to follow what is happening. Their quick explanation of events made no sense to me and everything seemed to be resolved too quickly. Despite that I'm still enjoying the show. |

This series so far is just a rerun of the movies, but without order, thus the alternative architecture, if you want it to make sense go and watch the movies in order, and you will not get the same, but more out of it, since the movies have some scenes that the series lacks (due to time, production, etc), other than that is the same, minus the continuity flaw. As for everyone else who is enjoying these reruns, they clearly are seeing all of this for the first time, not only that plenty of info about these prequels to classic GoitS, are from the manga. kyled00m said: Why is this so good!? And that's fine, but that's not new content at all, if that's how they plan to go with this series then we have in our hands a cheap production, they could at least make an episode explaining why the timeline of the storytelling of this show is told at random. |

| Fire-Starter again? I wonder if it will ever be revealed who Fire-Starter really is? I've seen the Arise movies first it was never revealed there, or if they've given hints or signs, I might have missed it. Probably in the new content here in Alternative Architecture? Or the 2015 New Movie? *sigh* |

| Same episode, but isn't there supposed to be a nude scene with Major? I guess that could be the next episode. They removed the battle music once again with Batou vs Major. It wasn't as hype like in the OVAs :( |
| The episode does not lose much charm compared to OVA, but I did not understand the need to change the narrative structure. The story is always intriguing, too bad that the quality of the drawings and animations is just enough. |

| Kinda confusing but I guess that's nothing new with GitS for me. It's always hard to follow if some stuff we see through the mayor's eye is actually a lie. |
| The actions scenes were done well here. It does seem to be very similar to the OVA in terms of what is being used. I doubt the redrew any of this series just cut what they wanted to use. I still like it. This has been a fun ride so far. |
