| Haha great episode Luffy held his own well against the shipwrights and he had to end up fleeing! Well I guess it wasn't technically fleeing... Oda made sure to make the circumstances like that so Luffy could save face. Franky needs fuel to fight interesting concept, a chink in the armour is found! |

| it seems that the galley-la company will be the main antagonist for this arc, but it's not that satisfying since everything's caused through a misunderstanding. Iceberg is obviously not gonna believe Luffy when he says that he hasnt seen Robin for the past few days, so I predict a LOT more fighting. |

| I was wondering how Luffy would react to the Robin accusation seeing that we’ve seen it once before when, if I recall, Johnny told them that Nami stabbed Usopp back in Arlong arc. However, instead of outright calling them a liar, this time it seems he’s coming more from a position of knowing she’s a good person and refusing to believe she did it out of anything but necessity, as well as maybe thinking she didn’t do it at all. Nami/Luffy has to be one of my favorite OP pairings. Their responsible/irresponsible, logical/emotional, reserved/impulsive attitudes make them incredibly different and bump heads but two who have the utmost respect and loyalty for each other with a serious bond since back in the battle with Arlong. We could see this distinction directly when Nami tried to tell Luffy to go in carefully and Luffy, being as straightforward as ever, slingshotted himself directly into Iceberg’s window in the middle of the day. Classic. I have to wonder, doesn’t broken glass cut Luffy?? I adored the Sanji and Chopper scene where they adorably spied on the Going Merry before putting on the act and trying to warn Usopp without letting him know it was them. This arc has really showed the soft side of Sanji time and time again and I love it. Iceberg seems smart so to call Luffy into his room, sure he wasn’t out to kill him, it made me wonder why he wouldn’t tell his craftsmen not to attack the Straw Hats, but it seems it’s to get a hold of Robin. This is heating up. Robin must feel guilty doing this to her new and possibly first family.. |
| Franky sure has some hard-core firepower, er, airpower. I give him my thanks for taking care of the foremen and helping Nami break free. It was heartwarming to see Chopper and Sanji go out of their way to warn Usopp about the incoming storm surge~ Iceberg looks like he has some major beef with Nico Robin. I wish that she'd show up to clear things up soon... |

| I hate when a plot is based on a group misunderstanding the other group or character, and that's because they always drag the misunderstanding for tooooooo long. There's NO WAY a sane person wouldn't believe Luffy after they clearly SEE that he's not following anything they're saying and that he's clearly on the dark and doesn't know anything. It's okay if they were reluctant when he said it for the first time because well, they're close to Icebarg, but after the fifth time you're just being dumb and irrational and it pisses me off. |
