| Lafalle ponders with Lapis who the next manager should be, thinking it should be Elia, even though he's never seen the ghost, and Lapis doesn't trust to reveal him the tower's secrets. Lafalle then suggests Carol but Lapis strongly refuses. Seeing Carol and Elia discussing together, he goes to them and they reveal they're dating, to which Lapis doesn't know because Carol is afraid of her strictness. Working with his younger brother Ash, he brings him to the secret basement, Area Spacifica to show him the manager's old weapons. Asking what Lafalle is researching, Lafalle tells his brother he's researching super-humans, which Ash sarcastically tells him he'll assassinate him for that. Lafalle tells Ash he plans to stop the Sleeping Tower, and release all the non-living to return them to heaven. Arione are close to creating black hole bombs, which Ash plans to stop. Lafalle suggests Carol to go to Australia far away from here on her vacation date with Elia to avoid the potential attack and war. He tells her he wants Elia to take over the basement. She reveals to him that her research is time-machines. ... Wow. This is getting even more fascinating. With the help of other sleeping tower managers, as Lafalle is about to release the non-living, Lapis stops him while pointing a gun at him. Unable to comprehend him, still caring for him, she cries while still trying to stop him. Lafalle points his own gun at her and possibly consciously misses, while she shoots him on the shoulder, Crying himself while running away, he feels that this relationship is more natural of them. Damn it, so the cycle continued... then... robo-cat appears from the elevator? The fuck. |

| Ehh? A father that seems okay with his daughter going out with a guy? That's rare. Then again, he did want Elis to take over. Perhaps no one else has seen the ghost because Spacifica has finally found someone to act on his warning and end these towers existence. Black hole bombs. Can't even fathom how much damage would come from those. I mean, surely the Earth will be gone but what would happen to the universe itself. This life chapter is way more philosophical than I expected. Then again this manga goes into what it means live and life itself. Its a shame he didn't discuss this with Lapis. Oh shoot. Its the cat. Is Carol with it? Hope she doesn't get killed in the process of stopping her parents from fighting. |
