I wanted her to stick around longer and become Cosmo's love interest. I'm sure Cosmo is going to be crushed when he finds out about her death. Once again, Karala comes to the rescue. They would all be nothing without her. And, they still haven't discovered the tracking devices on the ship? Well, with all the fighting that's been going on, they've probably been knocked off by now. | Typical Tomino killing ff the protags love interest. T.T And I wonder whats up with that coincidence. Their earth is exactly opposite the buff clans. Seems planned. Could it have been that they both are experimental groups of the 6th civilization? |
| What an eventful episode! That beam sword fight was cool as hell, the engine problems were #realrobots as hell, the animation looked good... Killing off Kitschy Kitchen (seriously, what's up with that pronunciation?)  this quickly was a bit anticlimactic but nothing really to complain about. R.I.P cool blue hair character. Now all I have is that goon extra on the solo ship. It looks like something's going to happen because of the blood transfusion. Seems promising. |
| I can't believe she died so soon... Poor Cosmo. That scene with her lying down dead playing the ED song was very emotional. Seems like Cosmo will unlock a new power with this blood transfusion. |

| Such a large scale battle, good surprise for this series where the ship was always defending. The out-of-gravity saber duel was a treat. Karala's giving up the information is hard to believe. She saw how the people around her are not better than the Buff people, yet she hopes they won't annihilate her species. The border between the two species becomes thiner and thiner: not only do they share blood compatibility but the planets are at equal distance from the relics planet. Is this some kind of Macross' precursor where the humanoid species are all made by an ancient civilization? And what kind of power will come out of their "union"? 5/5 Is it me or does this look better since a few episodes? |
