THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I liked this episode more than the first one. It was pretty and funny also. I expected things to end differently though, it feels weird to have this OVA end with this episode. To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if a third episode would pop up sometime. And of course, a star pattern works better than strawberries. xD Still an 8/10 for now. |

I liked this episode more than the first one too. I don't really have anything to say about it except that. So anyways, I gave it a 7/10. |

Both of the OVA's were really good. I liked the comedy and extra screentime that the minor characters got in the first one, while in this one, it was nice to see what everyone was up to before Yorito met Matsuri. After all this time, sola and Ef are still pretty equal to me. (rant time) I suppose the reason why Sola and Ef are both so good are their visuals, sound and characters. I know that sola has a really crappy plot (and it's pacing, which is why quite a few people hate it) compared to Ef, but I find the characters in sola more memorable. I would kill (Yorito...again) for some more sola in the future. 8/10 |

Sky > Mana Made me laugh. Sort of forgotten everything except the basic plot from the series though, been too long since I saw it D: |

That "star pattern" joke took me way too long to get. XD Aww... It has to be clouds, though, or else silly Yorito will never notice. I loved this episode since it played to the fans; almost everyone's quirks were exposed. And poor Koyori, who has made a reflex out of her big sister's loli-chop. It does feel different to be a prologue-ish episode, but I'll take it. |

This was quite good and I actually enjoyed it more than the first OVA episode since it was more relaxed and felt more like an actual episode of the show. Plus the ending scene with them meeting up was amazing. |

well lets see...sola ova 2 really brought out the slice of life feel...though not much was really added to the plot it gave us a look back at the characters and what was best about them, such as koyori's "mana-san", mana's mothering, yorito's obsession with the sky, aono's quiet love, mayuko's spoilt princess act, takeshi's 'suffering' and of course, matsuri's absolutely adorable "sei, no!" with that it really felt like an end to the series...ova2 was like saying goodbye to the things we loved most...when the ED started playing i like suddenly realised there wouldn't be more, that this was the last episode, the last 'colorless wind', the last 'mellow melody'...yeah so i cried manly tears at how sweet the episode was XD |

Twas a perfect ending. It would be cool to have more ova's, but i doubt there will be anything unfortunately... 8/10 |

OVA 3, please, epilogue, oh well, I liked both OVAs but for different reason, 1 was just a fun side trip that while it didn't fit in the series fit as an OVA and 2, it was like a good episode of the series, and while I still want to know how Takeshi found Mana it filled us in on the day before. I watched everything with the anime including the radio drama, so I am sad to see it go, maybe I'll read the manga. |

Good episode to cool off. The trio girls makes this episode fun too. Nice mana-kick to the face! hehe Koyori daydreaming about calling "Mana" Mana-san so cute too, the dialogue. The last episode! the saddest part is that we know the real story and too bad I get to revert back to the middle episode for this |

Anyone else find it odd that despite the old and enduring relationship between the three characters in this series, there didn't seem to be any connection between them in this episode? I couldn't help thinking that way when I saw Matsuri walking around town, swinging on the swingset, walking a straight line on the gutters, killing all kinds of time... I was totally expecting to see her peeking in on Aono in the hospital or something. Did she have no clue that her "child" yaka and her puppet were living in the same city? If so, why not? They never really tried to explain that. |

I finished this series a while back and what stayed with me was the scene when matsuri and yorito looked at each other and then it ended. The ending was the beginning, wonderful. |

So so so I've been thinking. Human eyes take up quite a bit of space in the skull. If one pops out it is a bit bigger then it appears when it's resting in the eye socket. Now, with this anime, all the characters have huge eyes. This leaves less room for their brains. |

A bit hard to get this right but the second special is actually the prologue of the series while the first special is the episode between 4 and 5... Interesting though confusing! But for me being this the first episode of Sola it sure was interesting a nice set of different types of characters that are quite sweet and interesting in their own way! I do wonder what the whole story in the parent story will give us! |

These ovas fill in the blocks how these things started yet ignore the important parts like how takeshi knows how to turn them humans? Isn't it strange! |

I do like the beginning of this show, so this was okay. Nothing really special to me, but it was fine. |
