This was a really good one, I enjoyed watching it every week and man each cliffhanger was a bitch. There's a lot to like about this show from the sports to the romances, I got invested in both of those and had a really enjoyable experience with this show. I am too impatient to wait a trillion years for another season so I am excited to continue off of the manga now

PROS:
- Story was actually really well thought out
- A lot of good fights
- Great music by Sagisu-san
- Animation is just whatever but towards the end you can see its improvement
- LOTS of really likeable characters with a lot of them having backstories too, was really impressive
- Great worldbuilding

CONS:
My main complaint about this show is that IT CAN BE WILDLY INCONSISTENT
- After well Bount arc, which I skipped, the animation is noticeably worse. Animation can be really damn slow and it affects fight pacing too, hell even shots of a frame going from right to left isn't smooth.
- There are a lot of straight episodes that have a streak of really boring fights after good episodes. I lost consistency watching the show for 3 months during the arrival to Hueco Mundo, the fights during that time were very boring, unnecessary feeling, and felt horribly paced. Any fight with Pesche and Dondochakka just had the worst pacing, Espada #8's fight was probably one of the worst fights I've ever seen in fiction besides its ending. Karakura Town arc's beginning fights were also very boring, just felt like more filler, had to play it on 2x to prevent myself from boring myself out
- Honestly, Kubo really should hop off the comedy segments in this show, Espada 8's fight was so damn horrible because of the comedy, nothing was funny besides the one episode with the Bleach off-air joke. I also really dislike the comedy involving the female characters' features
- Though I skipped the Bount arc, I do not like how they tried integrating it into the actual story


Though I wrote a lot more for the cons, the pros definitely outlaw them it was just annoying how the show can fluctuate from good to mid. It was a very entertaining watch and my first of the big 3 that I have caught up on.

Good anime, day 1, but why is this scored so high

This show is a very weird case for me, really just hits different. The further away the days get since I've finished this show, I just get an increasingly better feeling about it. The actual plot that only really occurs in special episodes was mid. But, each episode is mainly episodic and the show is such a vibe. A good cast (though I didn't really like Edward), one of the best OSTs, dub acting was great, great watch.

Very fun watch

This one was a good one, really liked this one, can't say much without spoiling but I enjoy Rei and Shinji's character in this movie and the events of the 2nd half

To say the least, I was utterly confused. To start off, I'm coming into the Rebuild series having forgotten most of the content in the original series, I was young when I watched it anyway, didn't understand it. Maybe I'm not smart enough for the series still but I had felt that a lot wasn't explained and a lot of things were explained poorly. Most of the movie consisted of action, not much story went into this film. I didn't feel emotional watching the movie either and the action wasn't as hype. I still have no clue why Mari was included in Rebuild's story and Kaworu I felt didn't even have enough screen time. And jut how the hell did Shinji learn the piano in like less than a minute

Plot was a bit convoluted and overall mid, animation for the time is really strong as well as the fights. But because of how fanservicey and how mid the plot was, I gotta give this one a lower rating but I really do love Cloud and Sephiroth's fight as well as the new One-Winged Angel track.

Very confusing, but entertaining. Music and animation is incredible, arguably the best animation I've seen so far out of Gainax/Trigger and this shit is from 1999. The show's a metaphor for growing up and like puberty, not understanding the show is okay, it's a big part of the point. Watch it for the vibe

Update: After several months of having watched this, I can say this show has really been changing my life. Not because of the actual contents of FLCL but its music. the pillows really changed my music taste forever

Watched this with my friend as a joke while trying to find anime to watch together, we gassed it up so much to the point it gaslit both of us into enjoying it so much, made us obsess over Douki-chan as well pathetically enough

ANOTHER RARE GOOD ANIME COMEDY?????

It took me longer than I should have to finish but it was just too good, I really wanted to take my time and since episode 1 I was dreading while watching each episode because it meant it was one step closer to finishing. I really wish this was 24 or more episodes because man it was really an enjoyable gem

Rare good anime comedy

I don't even know what to give this. Noted as one of the worst animes of all time but everything was just so damn nonsensical it's so hard to even give it a rating, good to watch as a comedy though

Started because this was SHISHAMO’s debut for doing an anime opening! For what it’s going for, it’s a good show, but the plot isn’t doing that much for me. The ideas of competitive recitation and announcements are foreign for me, and it being the center of my show isn’t really piquing my interest. But I’ll try to stick around the whole way

I’m not rating this a 6 because of the story. It’s not like the story is objectively that great either but I still enjoy it. My problem with this show is that it feels like the studio doesn’t even treat it with much respect. Character animations are mid and the show generally doesn’t invoke as much emotion as I feel like it should be. My main complaint is the soundtrack, it is singlehandedly ruining this show for me. It could be a scene with a good mood and the most empty and sad-feeling dull piano will just be playing in the back. The soundtrack has no variety, it all sounds similar and gives off the tone of the same empty ass mood, it is strongly taking away from the emotions of the scenes for me. If this show felt like it was treated with more proper care I’d give it a 7 so far

Really enjoyable watch actually, I wish Horimiya: The Missing Pieces wasn't so damn weird and that they just re-released the show with the added scenes. I don't have much to say for it but I really enjoyed it a lot and I miss it.

Perhaps the most FUN show I've watched. This show is just amazing, one of the first few animes that I've seen. I love so many of the characters, love the main cast, love the Chimera Ant Arc cast. The stories of the arcs are unique and amazing, the music is great, the emotional scenes hit, but god Yorknew and Chimera arc are just something else. I recommend this anime to anyone, I can't describe what I feel for this show.

Part 2 was lowkey gas, underrated and the final fight was hype

Probably the best cast in all of JoJo's, entertaining watch

Sure this part was dragged out and objectively not the greatest..but I still enjoyed it a lot. Dio vs. Jotaro is in my opinion the best fight in the entire series.

My favorite JoJo part. A lot of the events in the show were really damn whacky but it was really fun. Enjoyed the cast, good music, nice setting. People call it slice of life but if you've watched slice of life animes you know this hardly compares to one and shouldn't even be called that. The main spotlight of this Part is the Kira arc. I'm not even being biased at all when I say this but, Yoshikage Kira is genuinely one of the best anime villains I've seen. Kira's arc was amazing and personally for me the best part of all the JoJo's, final fight was a bit underwhelming but I still love this part to death.

Grinded this in 2 days, probably the objective best JoJo part that has been animated but the final fight was a bit underwhelming, especially due to the fact that I was spoiled for it heavily

What the eff was the fanservice ass first half

Second half was perverted but it was funny though

boring..hardly any plot, could see the appeal to the games they play but it's definitely not for me

I was never gonna watch this show originally but I got recommended it and wow honestly this show is underrated, plot is actually really good. The nudity may be questionable but it literally adds to the theme and story, it makes it better and not in a weird way, I really recommend this one

This the only anime that made me drop several tears, Akaza vs. Rengoku is definitely one of my all-time favorite anime fights

My 2nd favorite arc in the manga, but one of my least favorite arcs in the anime. Not a bad adaptation it was an incredible adaptation and the ending was beautiful but for some reason I enjoyed reading it more in the manga. Definitely the best finale of the series thus far though

Animation is stellar, didn't enjoy it as much since this was my first arc that I read in the manga (I didn't like it that much actually since Demon Slayer manga fights are incomparable to its anime fights)

The best season so far 100%. The most interesting and the most emotional one. Episode 3 really had me shedding tears a few separate times and they really got me doing that for like a character I knew for like 10 minutes

Some of the best character development and animation I've ever seen. Mob's development stands out in this season particularly and it's absolutely beautiful. The fights were incredible, the themes, the situations, the music, everything about it feels perfect. The first time I watched this, I had this season as on par with the first season but my rewatch I actually enjoyed it way more and understood the beauty of this season. This is definitely the best season of the show and one of the best seasons I've ever seen in anime

First half was honestly underwhelming and arguably the weakest part of the entire show but the second half was just amazing and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect ending

It is an OVA but it was pretty decent, provided a little development for Serizawa before S3 so I recommend this to anyone watching Mob

Overhated as hell, content in this season may arguably even be better than S1 but it's overshadowed by it because of its downgrade in animation. Just because the show was spoiled by its animation in its first season doesn't automatically make this one shit, the studio was given such limited time to make it anyway

Everyone needs a friend like Takeo

Other than her liking someone who's age difference is lowkey illegal I relate to Sunakawa's sister, I still have differences with her but I've never felt more connected to a character in a romance in my life

Definitely not the best romance out there but one I really personally enjoyed. The dynamic between Shiina and Fujimiya is one of the cutest things I've ever seen

If I watched this as a newcomer, I probably would have rated it a 7 but Persona 4 Golden is my favorite game of all time so this just feels like really enjoyable fanservice and overall this isn't a bad adaptation at all. Games can usually be funky to adapt with repetitiveness and how the gameplay is but I think this was handled surprisingly well. I enjoyed the protagonist having an actual personality and how the comedy scenes were adapted

I have this really high on my favorites list but as time has went on, I only feel and think about this show less. But, I want to respect the younger me because when I first watched this show everything was just absolutely beautiful to me and I've felt an enjoyment like no other on the same level as my top 3 favorites (which is why I have it so high). I originally had this as my #4 favorite but Mob Psycho has had more of an impact on me. Though, this show felt very impactful to me when I had first watched it. When I rewatched this show more than 3 years later, it didn't strike me nearly the same. I can still appreciate it for what it is though and for making my younger self feel so strongly about it

Update: After thinking, the reason why I adore this movie so much is mostly the development of the characters and the connection of Anno and the feelings put into this movie. Though massively confusing during the 2nd half, I feel as though the movie is still perfectly done, it’s as if the movie told me to turn off the brain on the actual plot and to take in all the feelings and emotions of the movie and to focus on the development journey of the characters. Thank you Hideaki Anno for this franchise and this perfect end to Evangelion. “Good bye all of Evangelion.”

Rewatch: I honestly thought this movie was gonna be not very confusing but it's Evangelion I don't know what I was expecting. I was completely dumbfounded when I watched this movie for the first time when I was young but I think I get most of it now. Having rewatched now after the Rebuild movies, in my personal opinion I enjoyed watching them more than the original series, but not to say the original is very good as well!

Good show, not exactly something I would call amazing or groundbreaking (or at least yet) but is quite enjoyable, I don't have many gripes with it. This show is full of "sidequests" but enjoyable ones at that and they don't feel unnecessary. Likeable characters, great animation, and good music

There's a difference between my favorite and what I consider best. I think I consider Steins;Gate to be my favorite anime of all time.

Many people struggled to get into the anime due to its first 12 episodes, but I was HOOKED since episode 1. The first half was all very intriguing to me. People who appreciate the second half, which is a lot of people, can even admit that the first half was essential so that the second half can blow up (in an amazing way). During the first half, I didn't think that anything of what the cast was doing was useless, everything was interesting to me. The whole story is one of the greatest stories I've ever witnessed period. The story is just so damn brilliant.

I cannot begin to explain how amazing the second half is. The episodes were even MORE INTRIGUING and everything emotional hit me like a TRUCK. You begin to understand the characters even more and see them develop throughout this half, I just love the second half so much due to how emotional it made me at times, the development between Kurisu and Okabe, and generally how invested I was. My expierence with episode 22 might just be one of the peaks in my life, no joke, it has to be one of the best experiences of my entire life

Okabe is one of the greatest characters I've ever seen in fiction, him and Kurisu are some of my favorite characters ever. One of my strong points about Steins is how the show makes me feel for the characters, each of the main cast show their problems, I enjoyed each shenanigans around these problems but I cannot go into depth about it.

God the music of this series do not even get me started. I am one of those people who enjoy listening to OSTs of media regularly if they're good. Steins' OST is amazing to me, all of the emotional tracks just add so much more to the scene. This is a random addition but the opening is amazing too, I adore its song and the visuals are addicting. The opening hits harder with each episode, I'm not the only one who felt this but during the later episodes it just oddly hits harder.

Overall, just peak fiction I will always love this show to death please watch this peak..

Honestly, I had higher expectations for this one. It was a bit repetitive just fighting one enemy after another but it had its moments. I really did not like the ending too

This show might not be anything amazing objectively but I have such a bad attachment to this show. Everything was really enjoyable and I caught myself getting very invested with the romance in this show. I wasn't even in that bad of a place while I watched this show but it just made me feel so happy while watching and I think that's a big reason as to why I have a big attachment to it

Just like Togashi's more famous work, Hunter x Hunter, this was also one fun hell of a damn watch. I enjoyed the shit out of this show and that's why it's high on my favorites list. I usually struggle watching longer shows but this is one where I got really invested from the start. I'm guessing many people didn't enjoy the first arc as much but I sure as hell did. Each arc and their fights were enjoyable to watch. Yes, though weak, I did like the final arc

Also one thing I want to state is that CHAPTER BLACK SAGA IS THE BEST ARC FROM THIS SERIES and god man Yusuke’s final fight in that arc was like one of the peaks of hype I've felt in my life

Originally read through most of the manga (wasn't finished at the time) after watching the first 3 eps, only finished this after I stopped reading for a while and after the magna ended so that I could jog my memory
