New Interest Stack
Interest StacksWho doesn't want a strong lead, and a female one at that? I mean, people stereotype A LOT in this day and age, so who doesn't want this type of unique character once in a while? Note: I tried to avoid shoujo romances as they are seen as common tropes, although there are some that I thought were personally good on the list. The world of Index is a fascinating one where the main conflict is between science & development and magic & religion. The main storyline is covered within the 3 seasons of Index. It's perfectly fine to just stick with that, but you can also add in several side stories and spinoffs (that are arguably better) to really expand the world and it's lore. But that does often bring up the question, which order to watch them all in? Do you watch all of index first before touching the spinoffs, or do you go for Railgun instead as it is widely considered the superior series? And what about Accelerator? Anime with both female and non-female MCs are also included, but only if there is a focus on the female characters (decided roughly based on screen-time or "camera focus") Anime in the CGDCT genre that subverts traditional expectations of the genre as the pure formula of a show about the plotless everyday life of cute teen girls. I recommend the (simplified) chronological order over the release order Some characters here are for sure a tsundere and for others it could be debatable depending on who you ask but i still decided to put them here because why not Associated titles from the characters featured in the guessing game (1/3) once this passes 50 entries I'll be splitting it between "until 2009" (a new stack) and "since 2010" (this stack) I’ll try to include every anime that have even the smallest reference to Vietnam. Comment on my page if you find more anime titles with reference to Vietnam. Inspired by bel’s list on letterboxd Sequels aren't included. |
