A wholesome, cute and mature romance. If you're looking for this—added by a shoujo writing-style writing, go for it.

But first, can I just say how cute Yuki is? Goodness me.

Anyways, this anime got a simple plot and is mostly character driven. It's about the relationship between the two main characters—but also occasionally the side characters which is also as interesting. You see how each of the characters develop, and I'd say it's almost like a slice-of-life kind of thing.

The show also displays a mature perspective in regard to how a deaf person would interact to other people. The sign language and the character's desire ... to learn it provides a decent insight and depth to the story. Besides that, I like how this anime also respects other countries through the main hero (Nagi Itsuomi), displaying the exoticness of its culture.

The art is great too. At first, I thought their lips was too big, but soon you'll get used to it. The music is also calming, the opening is great, and the background music does not disrupt the scenes.

This is like a comfort and cute show, often giving fuzzy feelings. The only drawbacks I dislike is that the show played the two main characters as too "safe", and sometimes the main romance interest (Itsuomi) can be a little too perfect/idealized. But even then, the show still allows some minor conflicts, character weaknesses, depth and at times comedy too.

Overall, it's a solid 8/10.

I think most of these comments are hating a little too hard. I mean, I also had high expectations because of the different ways that the author could have portrayed the def angle of the mc but unfortunately, it felt like a tacked on gimmick inside of a very trope heavy liner story. However, I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. After the first few episodes, I realized that the vibe of the show caters to a shoujo/feminine/pure audience. So, if your down for mellow drama and a pretty shallow ride this is for you, but I think I does THAT very well. ... The short, poetic monologs of the mc and the long shots of the character expressions are wholesome and cute. its worth your time if your looking to turn your brain off.

I have never watched a more bland romance in my life and i have watched so many dumb things.

FL is literally 19 and acts like she has 10. 0 Personality not only for her but for all characters. Bland. Bland. Bland.
I dont even want to comment on the childhood friend my guy is a insecure bihh whos a "tsundere" ... type. The only cute and good quality he has is that he learned sign language for the FL.
Her being deaf is literally a plot point insted of being a character trait.
The author does not know how relationships work ig? Because if he did who in his right mind would write something like this?
Expected a mature romance and got this disaster that i regret even wasting my time on.
