It's very similiar to AS : main plot - girl's soul in boy's body, and atmosphere is so Angel-like. I feel that characters are made in the same way - poor and kind protagonist, his friend who is rather confusing, jelousy enemy etc. If you liked AS you'd like UraBoku too.

The story is somewhat similar to Ceres only more mature. There is also some incest and reincarnations of celesital beings. Also, the genres are similar.

fight against destiny and the end of the world

Both OVAs are as much about the taboo relationship between a brother and sister as they are about the gradually revealed dark secrets hidden in their pasts. Hitsuji no Uta doesn't go quite as strongly for incest angle as Angel Sanctuary does, but the subtexts are still definitely there.

Both animes have brother/sister incest motive, with the brother being in love and the sister submitting to him out of devotion. Angel Sanctuary, though, has a lot of additional interesting stuff, Boku wa Imouto is a pure realistic drama.

Both are about an angel who was cursed to live as human and to die painfully in every life, in a never ending circle of reincarnation.

They're both about angels, and similar in terms of how the angels exist.. angel sanctuary.. the angel alexiel is dormant inside a boy named setsuna, and in DN angel, kaito dark, is released and inside the body of Daisuke.

Both shows are extremely similar in overall plot and theme. The unique plot direction of both is the same, as is the romantic element. Going in to more detail on those elements would probably spoil various plot areas of both series' but after watching both, it is impossible not to compare them really and i thought of Angel Sanctuary frequently while watching Maou Dante. Both are also based on Manga's that were not finished when the anime was done (although Maou Dante actually had an ending made anyway).

I recommend Angel Sanctuary and Koi Kaze because they both center around unlikely love interests. Both animes feature a serious look at incestual relationships between a brother and sister and how they deal with their feelings, society, and the repercussions of such a relationship. If you're looking for an atypical love overcoming all odds type of story, these two animes are a good place to start. Besides the taboo love themes though, the main difference between the two is that Angel Sanctuary is heavily fantasy based, while Koi Kaze is a set as a reality drama.

They both are a little tragic and might be considered horror ^^

Angelic bishounen involved in a conflict is the basic idea behind both Angel Sanctuary and Angel's Feather. Both are somewhat disjointed due to fact that the original formats of manga (in the case of AS) and game (in the case of case) contained too much information to be fully explored in these OVAs. A dramatic romantic involvement that includes incest (much more obvious in AS but heavily hinted in AF as well) and a supernatural element that relies very heavily on wings/angel-related imagery make these two anime a perfect match.

Thematically Angel Sanctuary and Please Save My Earth might not be very akin but both manage to combine reincarnations and star-crossed lovers with a supernatural driven plot in which the protagonists have superhuman abilities. AS has a greater narrative coherence although it feels incomplete while PSME becomes mostly lyrical in its conclusion.

Earthian and Angel Sanctuary share the same general premise: angelic creatures set on earth engaged in a battle of cosmic proportions. More, both series have said supernatural entities acknowledging human emotions especially forbidden romantic relationships: in Earthian between two males and in Angel Sanctuary between siblings.

Fans of Angel Sanctuary will love X, both the movie and the series. Similar themes: Post-apocalyptic, characters in high school, supernatural heavenly powers, very good storyline.
