Nanatsu no Taizai: Ensa no Edinburgh

Totally forgot about the movie and anime version of 7DS after what happened with Season 3.Accidentally come across this movie yesterday.Try to give it a chance because despite my hate on anime,i totally love the manga and the current run of Four Knights of Apocalypse truly an interesting one.Then,i got interest because this is a prequel of the 4OA and i truly love both Tristan and Lancelot as character.
So,moving to the review,i am going to say that it is pretty average yet enjoying.I actually ready to be disappointed by it but funny enough,i'm not.I actually like the movie.The ... pacing of story is kinda fast but it feels right.For the animation,i gonna say that they really did use a terrible shot for trailers and posters.When i start the movie,i expecting an upgrade and bareable ex-arm animation but instead,i got a smooth 2.5D animation almost like Dragon Ball Super:Superhero Movie.They did potrayed their emotion pretty well and the fighting choreography are all nice.But I did play 7DS mobile game a few months ago and yeah,the animation kinda remind me of that.It is not bad,just looks like a game instead of anime movie like how Toei done with DB.
Other than that,voice actors did a well job overall but Uchiyama Kouki voice here sounds a bit stiff.Not sure if that is just his character or what but at least,it is still an okay for me.Music are well done.Fit the tone of story and the world of 7DS.
Overall,it is a good movie and i enjoy it.It is not as bad as many people say.Some just overreact and some just straight up say what they feel about the last 2 seasons of anime.Just give it a go if you like 7DS and 4KOA

Honestly, its not that bad. I suggest waiting til part 2 comes out. I love seven deadly sins and would kinda like to see the stories of their children. I am not a fan of the 3d animation though. It looks fine in some frames but its is very gross looking when looking at characters hair and like Elizabeth looks a bit weird. Despite that, the fight scenes are better and aren't as painful to watch as the final season.

I think it was a weird choice to do the ONA in two points. Please just take time with the content, fans will appreciate it ... more.

If you thought seasons 3 and 4 were a travesty, this new followup to Seven Deadly Sins is a beast of it's own. If you ever thought, hey those really bad cutscenes in cel-shaded anime video games were awesome, this is the anime for you. You have the full on 3D environments with clear geometry and textures rendered in real time using PS3 era computing power with "stickers" as faces and the most awkwardly handcrafted animations around traced with a balled mouse from the 90s. Even the eyes will stretch when the face contorts, just like real life! It reminds me a lot of the ... CG Berserk, except I actually enjoyed that one because it was meant to be creepy and unsettling.

If you loved Boruto and the cheap cash grab it represents, as well as it's braindead story designed for children and starring the deformed children of your favorite characters, this will also please you. There's a manufactured and poorly supported rift between the main character Tristan and his father (everyone's favorite Meliodas) which makes for a good excuse to exclude him from all conflicts, and every other adult in the show, because otherwise the whole thing would be over in two minutes with Meliodas flattening the bad guy's castle in five seconds and the rest for the credits to roll, much like how Naruto is too "busy" rubberstamping endless documents as village chief in Boruto's show so his son has to save the world himself with his weak-ass powers. The villain department is even worse. Just a one-dimensional racial supremacy sob story using a recycled character, his hatred based off one of the most hilarious moments in Seven Deadly Sins. It makes for a pretty funny parody of the show. I might watch the second part if I'm bored once it's released.
