My collection for romantic-comedy drama animes. This kind of formula is one of the major things in terms of romance. A pinched of humor and romance, but mostly it have the most dramatic element. Some of these animes are truly tearjerking and kinda frustrating to watch XD But these are my recommendations that you might give an interest.

These are some of the best Romance animes I could recommend from my journey in anime world.

Notes: *There might be many different genres like school life, fantasy, isekai ones, but Harem ones are not included.
*Also if anime has second,third seasons etc. they are not included in the list so you will have to check yourself if there is one!

Instead of sticking only to the most recognizable animes in the romantic genre, I also added some that you might not have heard about or seen before.

If you're tired of the clichéd "Meet > Fall in love > Get together" plot, this is for you, as the couples in this anime are already together before or by the end of the first few episodes!

Anime where the male lead (or major supporting actor) wears glasses

One the famous genre in anime or in life(except most weebs don't get it in their life, kidding)...

This batch of titles deal with junior high or high school romantic dramatic comedies. Most of these involve a central couple and sometimes may have other supporting players in romances of their own. Many of these involve unconventional protagonists with social anxieties or personality quirks and have interesting character development cycles.

It goes without saying that each of these anime is meant to be entertaining. Not all love interests are kind to the protagonists, so do not base your real-life relationship choices on the ones shown here.

***One exception under the "the rivals clear up fast" is [Kimi Ni Todoke]. There the first season second half is full-on rivalry, but its worth the watch because the love earned in the end***
