Dang that does sound pretty bad... fair enough I spose.

I've never watched season 2... I heard it was uhhh not good to say the least.

Because I feel like The Promised Neverland didn't even try to make sense. There's literally a scene where they need important information on the mother and Ray's like "I have memories from when I was in the womb". Let's just be honest, "Shonen" and "Psychological" don't really blend well lol.

I didn't even think it was THAT well animated. it was literally just like attractive fight scenes. All the backgrounds and backdrops are like these weird 3D PS2 game looking worlds. Even when it did look good we have to deal these annoying characters constantly chiming in with incredibly annoying voices and unfunny jokes.
If you really want to see something well animated watch Space☆Dandy. It's often praised as the best animated show of all time.
