Both stories are about a girl who is in love with a very dense guy too absorbed in his workhobby. Comedy is a main in both shows. The main heroines have a very similar personality

Apart from the odd reference to anime-obsessiveness, the main male leads are both adorable. Both have slice of life vibes, great art, and spontaneous characters.

Gamers and Konobi share a very similar premise, each are about a group of students in a club. Konobi is an art club focused show and Gamers is, well, about gaming. Each show gives you a similar vibe when you're watching it, the humor is similar and character interactions are also really similar. In both the shows there's a main male and female protagonist and in each show they share a love interest to add to the comedic factor. If you've seen Konobi and enjoyed it, I would recommend Gamers for a similar experience.

Both shows feature artists who is are prodigies, but instead of doing fancy paintings, they opt to draw stuff for the otaku culture instead much to the disapproval of others. In Sakurasou, the female lead opts to use her talents to be a mangaka instead of a painter leading to others pressuring her to go back to painting, while in Konobi the male lead draws 2D girls leading to heavy criticism from his fellow art clubmate. Both shows take place in a grade school environment.

The main characters of these series are similar in both their school life and feelings. Mizuki Usami and Ueno-san have energetic attitudes about their affairs, and constantly try to get attention of the one who love, with great difficulties with responses.

Both have similar love story moments and cute scenes.

Yuru Yuri and Konobi (abbrv) are gag animes that focus on comedic happenings in their club. Additionally, both have similar characters that secretly admires one of the main characters (Toshino Kyouko of Yuru Yuri and Uchimaki Subaru of Konobi) Their cute attempts to get closer to their crushes will make you root for them unconsciously.

Netoge and Konobi are romcoms revolving on otaku characters in a hobby club (gaming and art respectively). A lot of the comedy comes from the otaku weirding out the non-otaku love interest and their friends' antics, both in helping them get together and otherwise. Konobi has better production values, but both series are worth considering watching if one enjoys the other or romcoms involving otaku characters.

The main character is equally as otaku short-haired heroine romance comedy

Both are very funny and enjoyable. Both have cute characters and funny characters. Both have little romance in them.

Both animes feature a main otaku obsessed character and a lot of romance. the only differnece is its more of a reverse harem anime, but its equally as funny

Both are lighthearted school shows with romance here and there. Both don't really have any significant plot developments (they have that slice of life/everyday school vibe).
report Recommended by anim3y
Both anime features one-sided crush between the cast member but the receiving party is too dense to realise/understand.

Both animes show us the adventures of members of school clubs (Astronomy and Art) while some of them experience situations of romance. Similar characters and stories with good doses of comedy. Sora no Manimani - - - Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!          Mizuki Uzami - - - Mihoshi Akeno    Subaru Uchimaki - - - Saku Ooyagi             Maria Imari - - - Hime Makita

Both have a non-Japanese female main character with a similar lively and energetic personality who does silly antics aside from having a similar a character design. Both shows are about school clubs and mainly take place in a school setting. Catchy opening and ending themes as well as cute and moe characters. Though Hanayamata has a more dramatic feel to it.

Same vibes, similar characters, different plot. - Nishikata is like Usami, they got teased and blushed a lot by their love interest/close friend. - Takagi is quite similar to Uchimaki in terms of teasing/making the main protagonists blush (although Takagi did it on purpose, while Uchimaki didn't even notice it). - The girl trio from Karakai Jouzu is basically a chibi version of Usami's female friends. However, the difference is clear. Konobi is focused on Art Club activities, while Karakai Jouzu is focused on the challenges between Takagi & Nishikata. If you enjoyed one, you'll definitely like the other.

While these 2 animes are completely different genres, Both anime features a Subaru as a main character and voiced by Kobayashi Yuusuke, and both Subaru are NEETs and Otakus to a certain extent.

Ai Mai Mii and Bijutsubu are centered around an art club where the main character is focused on art, the side characters are not, and zany things happen.

The bright artwork, as well as the peaceful slice of life. Although the comedy is stronger in Maou-sama, I feel a fan of one of these shows can definitely enjoy the other

Great art, as well as the slice of life, and romcom vibes, as well as a strong cast of characters

- The main character who likes a girl of 2D - Romance comedy about the life of the school - An interesting storyline

-School life anime that focused in a club where hilarious things happened everyday. -Romance that involve the Main Characters. -Some characters who attracted to 2D girls. (Switch (and his friends) & Subaru). -A minor similarity: Bossun is very skilled at drawing, just like the Art Club members in Konobi. -If you have finished Sket Dance first, you'll be familiar with Konobi's opening song because it sounds quite similar with Sket Dance 5th opening song. -And some situations where club members doing nothing (lol).

Having recently just finished Konobi, I just had this feeling that these two shows resemble each other so much. I don't know how to describe it, but I guess you guys may or may not get the same feel from both of these shows. Also, Colette and Miyano are sooooooo similar, I don't know why. Maybe it's because of the "master" thing.

Also about an art club. For those seeking art-related animes.
