They may be exceptionally intelligent, possess Superhuman strength, hypersonic Speed & Agility… But some of them are also fearful, aloof, ditzy, clumsy, lazy, gluttonous, greedy, childish and/or terribly near-sighted: Cyborgs, Robots, Androids, A. I. Projections who - on second glance - are NOT that 'perfect' after all but rather more similar to any living Human of Flesh & Blood, and that's probably why we tend to fall for them so easily...

[Please let me know of any errors]

Hello everyone, I will try to list here a long list of anime that have been broadcast on French television, being as faithful as possible.

The 80s represent the very first generation of successful Japanese cartoons to land on televisions of the time.
This wave is mainly marked by the youth program "Récré A2" broadcast from July 3, 1978 until June 29, 1988 on the Antenne 2 channel.

There are also some films and series that date from before 1978 in this list but they did not have a huge impact in France, the year 1978 especially marks the arrival of Grendizer [UFO Robo Grendizer] who was a real pop-cultural tidal wave for years, which we still see its influence today. It will of course be accompanied by equally cult anime throughout the 80s and 90s.

(Sorry for some missing anime, usually it's because they're not on MAL)

(And also I'm doing this whole thread by translating it on google translate, sorry in advance for the bad turns of phrase)

In 2012, The Asahi Shimbun announced the 104 TV anime that they considered to be the most representative and memorable of all TV anime between 1963 and 2012. It's a good starting point for exploring general TV anime history, and the shows are all worth giving a shot. The list was not ranked, and ordered by release date.

*I think I understand what was wrong with the first one I posted, I will leave that one up unlisted on my profile *full* and create this more streamlined and reasoned stack, explaining each inclusion.*

Akira Toriyama is one of the world's most renown creators in the world of manga, but did you know many of his other more niche works have also received anime adaptations?

The main purpose of this stack is for those who love Tori's work, to be able to easily find his lesser known works.

Specifically to spotlight adaptations of his manga, that are still relatively niche and unknown.

As these all fit that criteria and are not simply anything he hand a hand in creating, this should be allowed, as I understand it.

Magic Kids was an Argentine cable channel which aired cartoons, anime and live shows aimed at kids and young teens. The channel was founded on January 12, 1995, and went defunct on May 24, 2006.

Personally, I never managed to watch the channel because I'm not Argentine, but I recognize the importance it had for anime in Latin America

Note: some things may be misinformation because most information were taken from websites.
And most anime don't have information about the dubs being censored because it's not really known.
Also a part 2 will be available since theres more.
