basically the show sets you up for a group of highschool boys...there thoughts about world and how they deal with it.

Is the story unique? no

... Were the characters well-rounded? well...they need not be in this kind of setting.
Did the characters react to situations and events in a realistic way? weirdly at times...yes.


but at the same time Most of the story telling doesn't seem forced ... and realistic at times...and that's what makes this show so unique.


Anyway if you want to just watch a casual light hearted comedy...this is it.

"Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou Specials" was a decent addition to the series, but the six episodes could have been better as a single, concise installment. While each episode had its own unique moments, they felt disjointed and lacked the cohesiveness that the main series had. The comedic timing and flow was disrupted by the constant switching between storylines, and the overall impact of the humor was diluted as a result.

Additionally, some of the jokes felt repetitive and redundant, and the runtime could have been trimmed down without sacrificing the humor. The show's strengths lie in its ability to balance humor with heart, but with six ... separate episodes, that balance was thrown off.

In conclusion, while "Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou Specials" had its moments, it could have been a stronger and more impactful addition to the series if the six episodes were condensed into a single, more streamlined installment.

I just wish there was a funky girls spin off in these.
