Dirty Pair Flash 3

Dirty Pair Flash 3 continues with more solid episodes with a good range of setting and action & comedy focus. OVA 1 has Kei protecting a baby as she’s pursued by assassins, there’s a gap moe to Kei’s protection and the snowy wilderness with ski chase scenes and tense cabin hiding was entertaining. OVA2 has the pair face off against a little girl with crazy toy based contraptions and weapons. OVA3 has the pair do some serious Ace wo Nerae athletic training on a spacecraft under command of a zealous coach, it ends with a short volleyball competition but the training with scenes of jumping ... up the steps of a temple…on a spaceship were most amusing. OVA4 has a strange plot and is almost romcom like, with Yuri taking care of a rich otaku bishounen as replacement for his broken android maid, has some funny moments around Yuri coming to terms with her action girl personality, but the otaku is also unreasonable. OVA5 is more of a typical action plot in space.

Like the previous installment, the animation, keyframes, and level of detail look great. This entry has the most provocative outfits, as may be seen from the cover image. Overall, somewhat solid and recommended.
