I’d never pretend he’s innocent BUT the most he did was “fuck her up mentally” which’s is what she did to him too and actually less, her false accusations fucked up his whole life, they had an awful relationship which ended with her trying to ruin his life and then her admitting to lying, she was worse than him and he forgave her. This about him cos it’s the public opinion but look into before you judge him, look inot the whole situation and all his interviews and learn who he was, you’d be surprised at the kind of person he was

In the whole tape, he’s talking mentally, he fucked her up mentally because of what she did to him, and what he did in rousin was wrong but he was protecting himself, There’s plenty out there about the case and her admitting he didn’t touch her and that she lied about who hurt her and that she lost a baby, he was a troubled guy who had tuned his life around and he never touched his girl and never hurt anyone due to sexuality

Tbh that’s not close to being the truth, there’s evidence proving he didn’t touch his Gf and she’s admired she’s lied about a lot plus the beating thing was because someone was starring at him in prison whole he was getting changed after he warned him, in the same interview he talked about it he went on to say how it was nothing to do with the guy being gay or him having anything agianst gays and that he supports it

Yo I can't understand it either but you know togashi is a god at making characters likeable even if they're inherently evil. Like, look at the Phantom Troupe. They do really really bad things but they're one of my favourite group of villains ever. Don't even get me started on Meruem omg.

Hmm... I think we're both thinking along the same lines since Ash tends to disassociate himself as a defense mechanism. And disassociation can lead to the individual to become a numb human being in the long run.

Glad you brought that up because yes, I agree there is racism present in the Banana Fish manga. I think the anime does a rather good job decreasing the amount of racism (possibly one of the reasons they decided to make it take place during modern day instead of it being in the 80s), but it is still present so I will be covering that in the future.
