Yea me too, but usually it's only for the series I thought would be good. I started watching Shigatsu when it had 19 episodes (20 came out in the same day) because I couldn't resist anymore, and I had a week holiday then, so I figured why not. It was tough having to wait 2 whole weeks before finishing the last 2 episodes in one sitting, and the "feels" wasn't as strong as it could have been had I finished 22 episodes in one sitting.
As for Shigatsu, when I first watched the first episode I thought it had a lot of potential, it was everything done right for a set up/introductory to the series, but the second episode didn't quite live up to it, and so were the rest of the series. But! But, when the series gets it right, it gets it right good. It is also visually pleasing to look at.
With that ending I don't know how am I ever gonna be able to pull myself through a re-watch.. ):
o.O now you've completed Akame ga Kill too, that was fast. I thought the show was bad, at least for Shigatsu there were foreshadowing and build up to the
death
yet in Akame it was just.. too sudden, way too abrupt imo.
Yea figured. Those are not my all time favorite, but I have enjoyed watching them a lot. They are by no means masterpieces, just had enough to touch deep inside my heart. :>
I added Shounen Hollywood into my favorite list less than 24 hours ago actually, it is in my opinion the most underrated show of the season, and also the best show of the season for me. The characters and dramas presented in the show are actually very relatable, and very well done. Have you heard of it? The show still have 1 more episode before it ends.
