Gundam is a gigantic franchise. The series has been running since 1979 with new Gundam titles released yearly. There are 2 Gundam universes. The Universal Century which is the original timeline of Gundam, and the Alternative Universe which are standalone Gundam Titles.
Nice! My personally favorite would be 100 Years of Solitude.

Always cheesy Shojo. That's what makes me love the genre.

Ooooh I can't wait for that... HXH has been an amazing ride so far. Can't wait to finish it soon. Gundam according to many Japanese Otaku's, is considered to be the pioneer and the motherboard of all things related to Anime. In many ways, you could say it's the star wars of Anime.
Shojo stories are cheesy. But wanna know something? I love how cheesy they are. Sometimes a cheesy Shojo story makes me binge watch it quicker then a popular Anime haha.

Absolutely, I enjoy a nice Gundam story filled with politics, war, characters, and awesome Mobile Suits. But I also love me a cute cheesy Shojo story of a girl in love with her school boy crush. Nice! Which ones peaked your interests?
genres usually define who we are, but the main goal is to enjoy the Anime. I see... I say that it's quite foolish for someone to base the fact that female audience should not be watching Shonen Anime. In fact, I'd say that I see girls who enjoy Shonen Anime are cute in my opinion. Vice versa for people saying that the male audience shouldn't be enjoying Shojo. I mean, I can go on and on about how I love the tropes of Shojo Anime.
