Fall 2023:
The Apothecary Diaries and the flashback scenes in Frieren were the only notable things
Summer 2023:
Undead Murder Farce by default because the only other show I finished was Mushoku Tensei s2. I knew spring was too good to last.
Spring 2023 (holy shit suddenly getting a bunch of good romance anime dumped on us? After the dry spell the genre has had basically ever since I started following seasonal anime??? I'm winning so hard):

2. 3-gatsu no Lion (tied together with YoI in my head though, because both scratch my "sad-yet-talented dark-haired boy with glasses deals with depression, anxiety, and loneliness through love and acceptance" itch in completely different ways)
3. Yuri on Ice as the 12 episodes it currently exists as

naoko yamada made k-on such an amazing adaptation from the original series (also from another director). k-on is her 1st debut as director,She always obsesses about every character’s demeanor, insisting on treating them as autonomous entities rather than pawns that she could have full control over as a godly creative figure.
and yeah ishihara tatsuya with a bunch of a great series from kyoani such as clannad , air, kanon, chinubyou, and works for the last 4 year hibike euphonium
