Anime ratings

My ratings are a combination of enjoyment and overall quality. However, how can we pretend to be impartial concerning a piece of art ? In fact, we actually can’t, objectivity doesn’t exist in this case, since our bias can’t be totally erased. Nonetheless, we can try to ignore most of them to be objective as most as possible. THIS, is the kind of untrue impartiality I use to rate animes and mangas, the “overall quality” I just mentioned. I don’t claim to be right in any way.
Perception matters.

Here's how to understand the ratings while you're browsing through my list: Overall quality (which isn't a truth or anything like that, that's MY opinion) / Enjoyment (which is, of course, influenced by the overall quality just mentioned)
For example: 7/6

Numbers 2 and 4 have been removed from my scale, since I find unhealthy to distinguish kinds of bad show. It might be a mistake, nevertheless, I’m convinced ranking bad shows is a negative behaviour. Either it is unwatchable or simply bad. There’s no point to sort more. (Takena’s animated short videos and one-shot mangas have also been removed from my list in order to have fair stats. Plus, from now on, I don't rate OVA/movies linked to a parent story.)

1 – Unwatchable. A disgrace to the medium. I don’t care if the animation is “sakuga”, if the fucking plot and characters are utter shit, it remains unwatchable.

3 – Bad. Clearly more negative sides than positive ones, more boredom than fun (enjoyment-wise). Easy.

5 – Average. Either a work that isn’t able to distinguish itself or a work in which good and bad aspects counterbalance each other.

6 – Fine. Obviously more pros than cons. The work is not impressive, in fact, it's simply above average, but there are some interesting aspects to keep and to remember. From this score, it may be recommendable.

7 – Good. A work that was definitely worth my time due to some of its great aspects. There would be things to change, of course, but it is not a big deal.

8 – Excellent. From this score, we're dealing with works that have marked me on a personal note (enjoyment-wise). A piece of work that gets this score may be a little bit flawed, but has something to share and does it brilliantly.

9 – Masterpiece. A true classic we should always remember, the medium’s peak. In such a work, everything is awesome. Its depth allows it to have a great re-watch value.

10 – A work that receive this score can’t be sum up in only one word. Every of its aspects are awesome on their own, but there’s more. Their combination enhances them to make a harmonious whole. The work’s richness makes it captivating to such an extent that its re-watch value is sort of infinite. Actually, it is quite personal. IT connects with ME.

Also, Peng novel got its 2 first volumes online, the first one can even be bought in paper. Last one is coming out in November I believe

Im doing fine man. I kinda missed you. I am talking with a friend online, almost on a daily basis, and i missed you bcs of that. i dont need to explain why, i think its obvious. anyhow, im doin fine as always. i am always doing fine xd. cant get better but cant get worse either tbh, well much worse for that matter xd. i am planning on watching jojo in its entirety actually. i just play too much league in summers xd.

pretty much nothing new happened. but yknow its very hard to find friends that dont irritate me, especially online. so...i guess im rly glad to hear from you. also sorry for taking so long.

Yeah every friend of mine irl is has watched jojo, or even read it for that matter. Yeah I'm sure it's gonna be a blast. Not rly focusing on it, I wonder if I should... Sara was too gay for me. And the good things about it were taken from Penguindrum, which things weren't even what made Peng that good. It was Crime and Punishment influences that made Peng good. But I digress. I'm glad we're on the same page now.

I just rewatched Tex and Sara and I think I don't like them at all now. Sara is just a copy of Penguindrum thematically, not even a good one too. Gayism stopped being a plot element and turned into a fetish. And Tex is just edgy. For real. I get the referrences I get it all I've read about it but nothing is interesting if every character is a plot device, towards achieving the nihilistic and ominous ending it so desired. I just don't like them anymore. I might have thought it looked cool to be a fave. Princess tutu you were right about all along. You were right about everything.

Sorry again for that message, it didnt explain much, but I really fucking need to talk about a few things that trouble me. With you. Actually, not need, just would love to. Yeah I've not had any success lately especially last semester. I got dumped by Joe (if you even remember that name) and it was fucking devastating I stopped going to uni and shit. Hard times. At least I attend normally (or at least study normally) this semester.

This semester didn't start out well. I mean I go to uni now and I abide by. But yknow I'm in dire need of love from a female my age. And I mean it. So many failures and misfortunes last year. No, not just last year. But i know i am to blame. Its always like this. And I also cut my hair which is the worst decision I've ever made and I'm not even confident in my appearance anymore. Like, how am I even supposed to be when I'm almost 21 and still a virgin but well, I guess it predominantly means I have to meet more people.

No tutu was cool. Rly cool. I enjoyed it. No complaint. It's just not a fave. Well I haven't sat down to think about it.
