Hey, what happened? I hope you're okay...

I have put Muhosku Tensei on hold even though I've already seen spoilers here and there. Rent-a-Girlfriend manga is a series I need to resume reading. And for Season 2 of the anime, I need to resume Rent-a-Girlfriend anime as well. As for Jujutsu Kaisen, I've put the manga series on hold. I haven't watched Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen yet because I haven't caught up to the anime yet.

Yeah, so do I and because of that I don't watch any stuff dubbed, even if its recommended, as I don't want to be disappointed. I've heard that Samurai Champloo has also a great dub, but I watched it subbed already.

Always subbed, except when I was a kid and watched Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon on TV. I'm not from an english speaking country, so I don't really care for english dubs and usually they're worse than original with subs. The only dub I watched was Ghost Stories one.

Oh, I never watched dubbed stuff, always in original with subs. I'll have to watch it one of these days, although there's a lot of stuff out that I haven't watched yet, while I have less and less time.

Thanks for accepting the request. I think Now and Then, Here and There was absolutely stunning, however I watched it around 10 years ago, so I think I should've had another look at it now and see if it still holds up in my book. It probably does, but tastes change over the years as well :)

Looking at your MAL profile again, I guess you're a subscribed MAL member as you can change the color of your Anime/Manga stats and choose favorites up to 20 anime and 20 manga! That's so neat!

Even though I'm financially able to, I don't want to waste any more money on subscriptions. These past few days, I barely go to MAL. I'm just here again to check and reply to some of my notifications and update some Summer 2023 anime I've been watching (Mushoku Tensei: Season 2). I've been liking Mushoku Tensei so far and am gonna stay an anime-only for a little longer as I won't allot the time to read the light novels.

I see in your MAL profile that you're also currently watching Mushoku Tensei: Season 2 and that's the only Summer 2023 anime on your list that you're watching this season. What made you decide to only watch this series? The other Summer 2023 anime series don't entice you or don't fascinate you as much?

As for joining the clubs, thank you for that suggestion; but, I'm not going to join any MAL clubs at the moment. I barely go into MAL nowadays; therefore, I know I won't be active on any of them.

I still like MT as a whole and I hope it returns to its previous form, I just think it's not as good now as it was before. And I find this modern debate culture horrific, maybe 1 in 10 people try to say something reasonable, everyone else just hurls insults around.

Good for you that your collect tangible items (and not just electronic/digital games) to be able to play those cards/decks with your brother. It's one way to have a good bonding time with your sibling. 😁 I wish I have someone in my life to share my love for anime/manga with. 😣

As for A Place Further than the Universe, I'll keep it in my mental plan-to-watch list, but might watch it in the distant future given that I've only got little time to binge-watch anime nowadays. 😣 I do love it how you phrased, "It's so much more than cute girls doing cute things." That's all I need to know before watching the series. 😀

I've never collected Yu-Gi-Oh cards back then even when I knew that the anime was a trend or a fad among my elementary classmates around the late 90s.

I do like drama-based shows, especially when the manga where it's adapted landed on a very emotional conclusion.

I've never seen Sora yori mo Tooi Basho, but thanks for recommending it to me. I'll add it to my mental plan-to-watch list so that I don't immediately clutter my MAL profile. (I have a lot of on-hold series to catch up to that I got to the point of dropping even some of 'em if I am not super serious on taking them up again.)
