A new phase is aching to break free from its womb, my dear friend. May this phase bring enough content to satisfy my everlasting hunger for literary beauty. For I have seen and had my share of the formula known as 'manga', and these days I've been yearning to come upon one that will live up to my expectations. Tho all I seem to find is degenerate and repulsive content like one piece, which is ostensibly regarded as one of the finest works by the best of readers. Who knows what lies in the realm of web novels? I do hope that within this new phase, a flame will ignite in my heart.

It would be the greatest gift to get Fata Morgana Anime adaptation.

Unfortunately, the shallow and singleminded disgrace commonly referred to as 'Guts' spoils your opera. Yeah don't worry it made sense and that is a good explanation, I also experienced the same stuff with Fata Morgana.

Perhaps 7 or 8? The 73rd Demon Realm is great but it's definitely no where near the pinnacle of what ORV has to offer. Of course, it's mostly subjective and ORV is a HUGE novel with many arcs so I could be misremembering or forgetting stuff but around that, yeah.

I do wanna say, when people ask (probably my fault for mentioning the war arc but whatever) this it usually is to build up expectations in their mind, which is good! It allows you to be excited for a story you love, to have confirmation it hasn't peaked yet, but, I hope you won't keep waiting for "that moment" where you realise, "Wow, this arc is great", but rather take the story in its entirety because ORV is meant to be consumed like that, similar to Fata Morgana. Think about how Door 2, at least from my experience, was quite slow and lacklustre, but how much you appreciated it later in the story (I will not specify where or why because people might read the comments haha). ORV sorta works in the same way. So don't be too upset if your expectations aren't met, at least not immediately :)

Ah that makes more sense. I thought you had finished the novel and thought that arc was the best. It took me by surprise because you had great taste in the rest of your favourite arcs, so when I read '73rd Demon Realm Arc', I was like, "Bro, what lmao? What about X, Y and Z arcs!"

I don't want to skyrocket your expectations, but the war arc in ORV is probably one of my favourite war arcs in fiction (as are many other arcs in ORV), so please keep reading!

Hey! TY for the friend request. I seldom meet someone who's read both Fata Morgana and ORV, and even rarer to meet someone who enjoyed the 73rd Demon Realm Arc.

Don't get me wrong, personally, I loved it, but I'm aware it's one of the least popular parts of the story.

Nice nice. Well it isn't 1:1 adaptation as usual from most manhwa/manga that are adapted from novel, the webnovel has this darker tone than the manhwa mainly because it delve more into the character's perspective than the manhwa. I would recommend re-reading from the start since some of the dialogues from the webnovel got cut in the manhwa, especially the 5th scenario with adult Yoosung.
