A humorous, hardworking and dedicated mangaka. Her works are so well detailed that it gives a cinematic experience, as if I'm in the story or watching a film. I really respect this lady.

Emma and Otoyomegatari are such sweet stories... I can't even begin to explain how stellar her artwork is. The detail she puts into the clothes and scenery of her stories is fantastic, but not to the point of being overwhelming. I really wish to see more historical manga like this.

I read both Otoyomegatari and Emma. I thought she was a real lady before I started reading Emma. Then I started reading the afterwords and I almost died laughing. I do not know how she does it, but her art is amazing, probably thanks to her research.
