Did you learn the origins of anime?? It became popular after the Hiroshima bombing since it was an escape from reality, that's what anime fans are. LOL Some who watch anime for the heck of it never become fans, they just lose interest or criticize endlessly, saying it's childish or generic, but real fans are sort of like outcasts and end up loving anime as a form of escapism(no matter how generic or cheesy). If you ever meet hardcore fans, you'll notice they have a past...hmm...probably the more hardcore if it's tragic. Then again, it's just a theory since I was a sicko before anime, those "never give up" themes really worked. xP I use this theory as a measure to judge if someone is interesting, lol. My checklist is: open-minded, knows nothing is perfect, understands the technical flaws of their favourites and accept them nevertheless.
And I'm not losing faith in humanity, I want to have faith in it! Since I've seen so many bad there also must be lots of good somewhere. >.> Eh...my thoughts usually fight each other, lol... Ah, and you should try being in clubs. I just stick to forums, club chats are too friendly for a person as unknown as me. But that means you should think up a username quickly, that way you know what name to label your cards. XD Forum games have rules, then from there people who're interested in you might want to talk to you.

Hehe, I'm very adaptable, no? I make some but they aren't complicated... o^w^o I just let them come to me, I wouldn't bother wrecking my brains for them. =p=
Haven't started on Higurashi yet, but I imagine it's more impressive than School Days. :P I so hated the ending of School Days, it should be more epic, more hateful...but it was sooo anti-climatic... I'm very apathetic when it comes to fiction so I had lots of hopes I would hate it, hate might force some feelings into me. ~.~
Okay okay, I'll just end the topic. ^^'
I like unrealistic plots, but I want realistic killing, something so epic and horrifying~ Unrealistic killing is making it a sport, people aren't psychos and think it's normal, meh. >.> Unrealistic plots are exaggerated, and they're cool~ If realism, by all means I hate it. Why do you think I reverted to anime instead of live-actions?! I certainly don't want to see people stabbing someone's eyes out with a pair of scissors no matter how realistic! o.o

Sure thing ^^ I liked how Steins;Gate churned all kinds of questions that aren't boring, yet it isn't easy to figure them out, even if some say they're smart. Muahahaha~

And if they follow through with a second season (which they probably will), it should be much better with the material that they have to work with.
And I'm not that interested in the manga right now. I don't like the art style of the first one. And the second one is still in the first arc. Plus Baka-tsuki hasn't done much in the light novel area. I'l wait for more quality content before I try any more of the series.

And after that last episode, I'm putting the series on hold until the end. It's just a little too unnatural for my taste. Supernatural is fine. Bloody is fine. But show transformation like that...bleh. Probably the same reason I hate anything Hulk related.
Enough about that.

I hope you enjoy Haruhi when you can (or Hellsing if that's what you were referring to).
And yes, because Hellsing is an OVA and only released on DVD/Blu-ray, they can range from 45-57 min. Still they are awesome and crazy good dubbed. Enjoy when you can.

Same here. Angel Beats was a solid effort, but Clannad was the masterpiece.
Still the one complaint about Angel Beats was its length and lack of all characters being explored. If that was fixed in the visual novel, I would be very impressed.
And yes, that is an actual fact. Just look at any anime ratings chart on a site including this one.

As for Free...Just look it up, watch the initial commercial and cringe...bleh.

So as for me, I'm enjoying Devil is a Part-timer, watching Sparrow's Hotel just for the heck of it, holding out with Photo Kano and RDG: Red Data Girl, and I've put Attack on Titan on-hold until the series ends or I hear that it will get more uplifting and less unnaturally disturbing.

Besides, I'm going to try reading more of Pandora Hearts, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Higurashi. Let me know if any of the other shows from the current season and good and worth watching.
