Yeah that’s also true, while intro and endings are not all that important to the actual show it’s still cool when an anime has good ones. So I’m hoping CSM can have a fitting one, I’m hoping it’s something like the intro Vinland saga had

Man you got some pretty good choices


I didn’t even think of Toshiki Masuda but he’s literally perfect for a character like Denji especially when you consider the other characters he has played. And you also brought up some really good choices for Makima, I think the most important for her is to bring across the idea of her character through the voice acting, like how she looks down on everyone and talks in a cold and uncaring way.



Power and Aki are the two I have struggled with for the longest time because I have no idea who would be a good fit for them both. Aki should come forward as a calm and collected character but also someone who is driven heavily by his emotions which can be pretty hard to make obvious with just words. Power is really hard due to her really strange character, she’s not a human yet has human attributes in her, so making this come across can be hard, but I feel that as long as they do a above average job at choosing someone for her it won’t hurt her character.



I haven’t thought as far as people as Kobeni, Beam and Kishibe because I’m not sure where the anime will end or if it will adapt the entire manga. However I do really look forward to seeing Beam get a voice actor and his interactions with Denji ( I also think they should explore the fact that Pochita is this feared exterminator in hell in the anime ) but I’m hoping they nail most of the characters



I’m also not in a hurry too see the anime, to be honest I would prefer if they took their time perfecting everything. The two things I just want to hear is the soundtrack and voice actors. The soundtrack so that I can listen to it while reading the manga and voice actors so I can imagine the how the characters sound.


Also off topic but it would be cool if they made the intro Devil in your heart the intro, because that song and the edit of chainsaw man over it is what got me into it originally

Yeah, I got nothing but respect for the people who put their mental and physical well being on the line to create top end shows which keep us entertained. It’s amazing to see how much passion and effort goes into a single episode of a show and knowing that makes it so much better to watch.


Yeah, it’s great talking to others and hearing their opinions on pieces of media that I love. So it’s been great to hear how you feel about it.

Yeah I remember the art getting leaked and thinking it was just some other good looking fan art that they had done in celebration of the trailer getting released. But after waiting for so long for the trailer to drop and then seeing everything unfold was amazing. In the moment I was annoyed that they didn’t give us release times but looking back it was a pretty fun event.



I’m not all that knowledgeable in voice actors but I feel that the ones they have to nail are Denji and Makima. For Denji I would say Furukawa Makoto who’s most notable for Saitama in One punch man and a character in Orange who’s name I can’t remember. Makimas voice is one of the more important ones due to how it can either make or break the character and how she appears. For her I would say Hayami Sasori who played Yuukinon Yuukinoshita in Oregairu and Yotsugi Ononoki in Monogatari. Her voice acting is great and she is great at playing colder characters. Who would like to see?

I also agree with you how they should bring more to the table with the anime then the manga kind of like they did with aot with its character development and tons of extra scenes where we get to know the characters better.


Also it’s awesome to think about how amazing it must be for those animators to work on something this amazing. I can imagine how it feels to work on something that you are not only passionate about but that you yourself also enjoy. It might be a hard and grueling job but it still must be a dream come true to them. I feel comfortable knowing that one of my favorite pieces of media is in the hands of people who are just as passionate about the show as me
