TBV is cool, I enjoy it but man some of these reviews are garbage lmao. You got one dude saying "Rock Lee and Might Guy be ruined" despite these fodder shinobi not even showing up in the manga. Guy got nerfed in Naruto, what is he going to do? LMAO. Not to mention getting annoyed that the MC is finally becoming cool. Anyone who want to give this manga a chance, ignore those silly reviews.

Pros:

Interesting premise, the narrative has a strong hook and the mystery behind it is really interesting. The villains this time around are cool. When it comes to pacing, it's pretty ... well paced, you get a bit of action and plot progression. The side characters are finally getting more development this time around, good stuff. The paneling is good.

Cons:

Ch1 has an unnecessary recap that doesn't really make sense considering the timeline of the events. There are some art inconsistencies here and there but most of them get cleaned up in the official volume releases.

The basic plot of the Boruto manga has always been likable enough, whether it's the prequel or the current series. The greatest strength of the plot lies in the choice of the story surrounding the main character, Boruto. At least for him, I don't think there is anything more suitable. While I appreciate the focus on Boruto, it seems that other characters lack the opportunity for development; they are somewhat compromised in comparison.

Compared to Naruto, this manga also lacks several elements from its predecessor that could have been effectively used to tell a better story. Unfortunately, these elements remain largely untapped. The villainous and antagonistic ... elements hardly undergo any significant change; instead, the narrative often revisits the same themes repeatedly. There is almost no unpredictability in the story or character arcs, which fails to leave a significant impression on readers. When this manga was announced as a follow-up to the prequel, I had hoped for improvements in this aspect, but unfortunately, those expectations were not fulfilled.

Despite my reservations, I still find this manga to be readable and possessing a pleasant appeal. However, I believe there is room for improvement by introducing more elements such as world-building or new powers. Expanding on these aspects would not only enhance the overall scope but also add freshness to the narrative.

The manga is still little below average, they should already stop beating the dead horse and feed of Naruto's success. Kishimoto should just move on and start thinking about something new, because with every new chaper it keeps on becoming pointless. Like it's so obvious that they want us to react to this like " ooooo wow boruto after timing skip so overpowered,oooo wow he came to save the day so cool " .
Plus it has ruined all the orginal Naruto characters and nerfed them like Kakashi, Sasuke, Rock lee, Might guy. It just shows that all the shit and suffering these characters ... went through in shinobi war was pointless in the end .Code and Kawaki are most below average antagonists , like in the same universe there were characters like Madara , itachi , Pain.... But Code and Kawaki are not only bad antagonists they are just bad characters with no depth.
The more serious they try to make this story the more boring it keeps on getting so best option would be to stop and and not butcher the legacy that Naruto had created.
