Part 1 of the story is kinda meh but still looking forward to how the anime translates everything.

Looks like another Yuri 🥲—The thumbnail, I mean. 😏
Looks like it's not...🙂

@Fario-P I just want to know in advance what awaits me, so as not to end up in another shipping dispute while discussing one of the episodes.

Manga is overrated and boring.

i think robertbobert is way too obsessed with yuribait anime and yuri fans...

Hell yeah, I agree. I still have yet to read this past the first chapter, but more magical girls are always appreciated.

Heck Yeahh, finally Magical Girl Anime with Seinen drama

So does this have serious stuff to it? Just wondering because everything is colorful with the character designs.

@MegamiRem Yes, but after this discussion of all-male and and-female shows can be quite difficult. But as you already said, this is a matter of people, not manga.

Dang J.C.Staff participating in a co-production and not as the main contractor? That's actually wild. Seems like J.C.is going to be the production site led by Moe staff, since Moe just looks like primarily a digital studio. Also looks like it is the Moe's president directorial debut as well.😦

@RobertBobert I was talking about purely in terms of manga content. If the yuri shippers wants to ship characters no one can stop them.

Good news! It is only a matter of time when Sakamoto Days gets an anime soon!

I'm so happy about this news! However the fact that it's JC Staff and a studio with no track record is worrying... Hope they'll deliver. Magi-Lumière is a good manga and deserves more than a just average adaptation.

@MegamiRem Well, you yourself know that sometimes manga doesn’t even need to be bait to attract armies of shippers. But I'll take your word for it, I hope it really will be devoid of ship wars.

Nov 28, 2023 10:47 AM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert This ain't a yuri bait either no.

Nov 28, 2023 10:43 AM by MegamiRem

@MegamiRem Even without the obsessive shippers and the potential to suddenly become yuri bait like a number of other manga?

Nov 28, 2023 10:32 AM by RobertBobert

Shit, this is a definite must watch

Don't get enough of these anymore

Nov 28, 2023 10:25 AM by EcchiGodMamster

@RobertBobert None of those. This is a scifi magical girls series and they are just co-workers.

Nov 28, 2023 10:17 AM by MegamiRem

I hate to be that person, but is this just a female version of nakama power or something with yuri potential? Nowadays a lot of initially BFF titles began to choose yuri routes to increase sales, so I would like to know in advance what I will be watching.

Damn, the manga only started putting more thought into its premise and concept a few months ago and it already has an anime announced. Hopefully it'll gather enough of an audience for a season 2 so it can eventually get to the more interesting part of the story.
