So westerner like Noragami. good to know since it has a lot of religion and belief stuff which Christian people might not understand. but it actually a good manga.

^ In the half year manga sales attack on titan sold over 8 million copies, so 1.5 million couldn't be the Japanese sales. Yea, but I think why attack on titan is maintaining it sales in the US is because of the dub and also because of fans of the series are advertising attack on titan, via social meida and just talking about it to other people. Plus netflex is a easy way to stream attack on tit an as well.

Though I am worried about some of these mangas not selling more than Prince AoT.
Either AOT is selling AMAZING!!! or the manga market is smaller than hoped.

I mean its absurd that a manga that has been out for over a year is still outselling newer sutff, anime boost not withstanding.

One thing you forgot is that attack on titan dub is actually airing on toonami, that could be a reason why it's still selling so well right now in the US. I guess it brought in new fans of the series. Remember not every anime fans watch the sub version.

Actually I haven't forgotten about it, I already made a remark to that last week or that one before it.
And I also know not everyone watches the sub of a show, just look at FMA and Bebop for good quality dubs and I still love Faulconer's DBZ ove r OG and Kai.

I'm just not at eased that a volume 1 of a (Granted Popular) series that has been in the list for over a year(Still talking about vol 1 and sometimes vol2) keeps on outselling newer books, especially numbers 1's who normally have a higher install base than any other number in a series.

I mean the big surge moments (JP airing and Dub episode 1 airing) must have lost its luster by now, so only a lesser stream of new readers should keep pouring in.

But still you presented a good point.

Quote Attack On Titan had sold over 1.5 million copies in English before volume 14 was released so I think it's definitely a case of AoT selling like hotcakes. Most of the manga publishers are rather positive about the English manga industry but I think AoT pulling in new readers is a big part of that.Quote

Could be, I mean just look at Seven Seas, they have been announcing manga after manga since Monster Musume.
Heck they are in a 7 days 7 announcement party now.

But that still doesn't make they shoe ins for further sales though, it would be cool if it would do so.
Hence why I'm not hating on Aot just because it's deemed ''popular'' just concerned that it eats more of the salespie then it's creating back.

But 1,5M, thought that was the JP sales, oh well.

Anyway Diamond's manga top 50 list for people who are interested in that, cheers.

How is Attack on Titan still selling so well? Is it because it is airing on toonami?

I never understood why they never continued Spice and Wolf it is real sad. from what i could tell it was doing very well in sales but for some reason they never bothered to continue it :(
